I have seen Canadian Brass many times over the years, including 3 times (or 4?) at Markham Theatre, just north of Toronto. With terrific stage presence and easy sense of humor, they are as good as they come and remarkably entertaining. They typically record their entire show! 👍
(Copying from someone down here:) Songs: without intro/transitions -- Moonlight Serenade; A String of Pearls; The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire); American Patrol; I'll Be Home for Christmas; In the Mood.

Having worked so long on his "sound", I wonder what Mr. Miller would have thought of this rendition of his music. I expect he would have loved to ability of the musicians, but not been thrilled by the "sound".
Agreed. Not a big band sound. Miller definitely favored a very smooth, sweet sound. Ever notice how his saxophone section emulated the sound of a string section? Yet I think Miller would have had a liberal perspective of peoples’ interpretations.

The camera work is so poor and distracting, the video is not enjoyable to watch - sorry. Ruined the Canadian Brass excellent performance.....
bad
Terrible version of Glenn Miller's music; it sounds like a circus band! They need a new arranger.
