Not just for making stops this helped for a starting player getting a feel and understanding like seeing that portals are like gyms it makes so much more sense now

@noor nazir I mean my username on telegram (chat app agents use) is @HokeyBugle. if you contact me there I can help much better than through RUclips comments
What was confusing for you? This was more of an introduction before you start playing the game, part 2 will definitely dive into the actual game regarding the important items to focus on and what they do, grinding methods, etc.
I was able to take down my first couple of portals thanks to your video. The first time I tried to attack one I did it pokemon go style. Tapping the screen. It didn't work. Now this morning I got some portals and even got some little tiny fields up. I'm making progress :)
Wait so... I can use ingress to add actual pokestops?! That would be... amazing! I live in the boons of Sweden, and there's like... 3 stops here, and one gym. Dear lord keep me sane.
There's only 2 pokestops near me in Pokemon go. That means there's only 2 point of interested in Ingress, how long will it take for me to reach level 10?
I started playing Ingress after reaching level 40 in Pokémon Go mainly looking for new challenges. There is definitely a difference in the culture and I think ingress players really do a lot to protect both games. Without them there would probably be a pokestop in every backyard in the world.
Yeah it's a really small community in Ingress/Wayfarer compared to Pokemon GO. The ones who are invested act as guardians in a way, although I don't always agree with their methods.
@@LuckyBunz One of the things I really appreciated from the Ingress community was being made aware of that map they use. I mentioned in the Wayfarer forum that there was a Gym right in front of a fire station. Shortly after posting that someone posted a link to the spot on the Ingress map of the location I was talking about. That map is a huge resource for Pokemon Go players most of whom don't know that this map exists. The funny thing though is that the Ingress people were all supporting taking it down because of where it was while the Pokemon Go people were horrified that I called into question that location. The funny thing is very few people go there to play and I remember one player posted in the FB group a request for someone to go there and knock her out of the Gym because it had been there for weeks and she wanted to power up her Pokemon. At the time I didn't think that much about it because it happened long before I reached level 40 and didn't give that much thought about where pokestops and gyms should be. Now I can't help wondering why Pokemon Go players are so concerned about a Gym that no one even goes to.
@@aguynamedscott11 One of the aspects for Pokemon GO players is the gym defending medal. The longer you hold, the more you can add to that. It's really not a big deal and tbh the Ingress side of me agrees that anything near fire stations, police stations, etc. should be taken down. There are plenty of other places to get stops/gyms and we shouldn't encourage players to trespass or make their jobs more difficult in anyway. Just my take though. The Ingress Intel Map is a godsend though, like we desperately need something like that for Pokemon GO reviewers.
@@LuckyBunz They should really increase the number of hours needed for the Gym defender medal or not base it on the accumulation of hours from multiple gyms. Only 1,000 hours is required for the medal and I currently have 18,089 hours. That sounds like a lot but if you capture a gym in places like Yosemite on the last day the park is open before they close it before the winter, those gyms will stay captured until opening it again in the spring. I actually held a gym for 156 days before someone was able to get to the gym and knock me out of it. There are a lot of gyms like that, that don't require much effort to reach 1,000 hours. I think that they should make it more like 100K or even a million hours just so you have to really work at it. Most of the medals though are pretty easy to earn though.
I play Ingress as well, got to level 10 just recently and just saying that once you submit a portal, it can take up to 4 months for it to be either approved or rejected. Yes a submission can be rejected as well.
That is only if you close the game after your submission before you get the email. This can cause the submission to get stuck in limbo apparently. Should only take 2-10 days to hear back if it got approved. Anything past 2 weeks is most likely denied.
LuckyBunz NOT... some takes longer, some doesn’t take too long... I’ve submitted portals that been approved in 10 months, others in 3 months... I have never had a portal approved in less that 3 months but I know players that claimed that they have been approved in less.. so I can say in Average.. 2 to 5 months .. I’d like to add that just 20% of my submittals have been approved 80% rejected and NO pokestops or gym been converted.
@@cafepuyait’s a glitch in the game. When you submit a nomination continue playing the game for at least an hour before turning it off. Idk what it is but sometimes the game will continue uploading the submission data after it says it finished submitting. You need to wait for the email confirmation like lucky buns said. Keep the game on until you get that email confirming your submission.
Now that I’ve played both Pokémon go and Ingress Prime I have to say Ingres Prime isn’t a good game and I have found the opposite to be true regarding cheating. Ingress players spoof a lot which undermines the game a lot more than it would in Pokémon go. That and the stalker like behavior in ingress, it’s a game that is best avoided. I made it to level 10 in ingress and I even got a few pokestops accepted through ingress but I ended up deleting the account. The nominations that I have available through Pokémon go were sufficient and ingress prime is just too toxic to want to keep. Ingress Prime is not really a game. It’s a sickness
Interesting comment and I agree mostly, but but not all ingress players are spoofs or stalky. Some really care about the game. There are a lot who are though. It's addictive and to some people it's a sickness yes.
make sure you point out that submitting portals to get pokestops and gyms isn't going to get you anywhere if those portals aren't actually valid. That there are rules for what can be a portal and that you're not likely to be getting a pokestop at your house. and that we really REALLY dislike pogo players that only play ingress so they can submit pokestops and gyms.
Any ingress player who can help me out , in my area we have hardly 2 -3 pokestops , and only 1 gym which is quite far , plz help to add some pokestops otherwise I have to uninstall this game coz I'm running out of pokeballs
Nope, recently Niantic rolled it out to Prime players in Australia, Brazil, New Zealand, and South Korea to start. They stated that once the feature is running smoothly, it will be rolled out globally. So helping people get to Level 10 now will set them up to jump straight into submissions when the global rollout happens.
If I submit a stop in Go and it gets approved, but is unavailable and says it’s used in other Niantic games, what can I do in Ingress to make it show up in Go?
I don't understand? WHY DO I HAVE TO PLAY INGRESS when I can make POKE stops right from the Pokemon Go app......after reaching a certain level....just like ingress
Definitely worth going for Level 10 in my opinion, being able to submit portals to add new PokeStops and Gyms helps a lot! Will leave it up to you though, next few videos will go over what you need in order to get there if you ever decide to jump back on :)
can i be a roaming mob with a backpack filled with $5 burner android phones all tethered to one with wifi hotspot enabled counting as like 50 people? Probably sell premade accounts that way, especially if said backpack flew through parks with a drone or RC car.
Just type in Scanner Redacted on the app store, but Niantic is transitioning out of it towards Prime. You also need to have an account that was created before November 2018.
Basically building fields, linking portals together and then neutralize enemy portals. Building a field gives you 1250 AP each, creating links gives you 313 AP each. Destroying enemy field gives you 750 AP each, destroying enemy links give you about 187 AP each, etc. There are so much other ways to get AP such as capturing a portal, deploying a mod, etc.
DJ Ray8 Destroying enemy control fields gives you AP depends how big is the Mind Units of the field or if there’s many Links and many big fields attached to that portal. It can give you amazingly a high amount of AP... I mean thousands... 5,000 10,000 20,000 even more..
By adding new portals in Ingress, this is how PokeStops and Gyms are created in Pokemon GO. This gives you more research tasks, grinding spots, and Pokemon spawn points
So I would be able to put a stop and a gym inside my house on Pokémon go by doing that and also put more in the park the park is where I grind but there is about 7 stops there and 3 gyms so it definitely needs more
@@konnorplaysgames4910 No, you would not be able to add them inside your house lol. There is a specific criteria that must be met for submissions. That will be covered in part 3.
