Visceroids and maybe shardy bois with waggy tails. Worst case, he runs into a GDI patrol. Best case the city is completely vacant. Someone needs to get onto making survival games and such in this universe....
They should really make it like a S. T. A. L. K. E. R. Series like free roam and explore the world. And space travel. Its a big project but. FKING AWSOME!
Instead of a remaster, how about just getting another re-release like they did a while back that had damn near all the original Westwood C&C games bundled together. BUT if a remaster is still a thing, give it to Night Dive Studios. They really hit it out of the park with remaster older 90's titles and keeping the feel as picture perfect to the original as possible
@@mrbigglezworth42 Since Tiberian Sun is freeware nowadays anyway, a re-release would not make sense. But I do indeed want it to keep the old game feel as well :p
this whole time I thought i had clicked the bell on your channel; joke's on me I hadn't. here we are 2 months later going through subscriptions by chance and I find this. Good Shit
This image and remix fit the Tbierium!verse to a T. Most people forget that Tiberian Sun is meant to have an atmosphere and music similar to S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Terminator/Future, Last Of Us, or Metro 2033, and a little bit of the early Expanse TV series. Not Fallout. This World is meant to be a mysterious, grim, hopeless, and post-apocalyptic hellscape where anything and anybody outside a few fortress cities, can and will kill you. A world ravaged by rapid xenogenic global warming, extreme climate change, and alien weather phenomena, where multiple world wars were fought with WMDs and where an incomprehensible self-replicating non-human technoplague is slowly but surely eating it all away. In many ways, the themes of Tiberian Sun have been 20-30 years ahead of their time.
I am so happy I've found this. After listening to all your C&C remixes many times, this one is my favourite. Outstanding job. I would love to hear your version of Infrared :)
thanks. im still here.. just got my music software working again recently trying to get back into it. ive started mutants before but the intro is so unique and hard to reproduce. do you think itd be better to just sample the original intro and blend it into my remix, or just make it from scratch but it wont be as good? ps my most completed track currently is lone trooper
@@MattMajcan Tbh I'm no music expert but I agree the intro is so unique...I'd maybe try seeing how leaving that bit in for nostalgia would work while updating the rest would go? Cuz unless you could find a sound so...strong, as those first few seconds, it may not work so well heh. I'd fiddle with maybe making the percussion more clear, less echo-y, but the bassline is definitely the heart of the song. Preserving or even amplifying it would be what I'd personally do. I think you can do it though, I honestly like your Pharotek more than the original!
Thank you so much for remixing this one, hands down one of my favourite tracks right next to lone troop and scout, sounds absolutely awesome. By the way, I know it's not really a Tiberian Sun track but have you ever thought about doing a remix of Act on Instinct from Tiberium Dawn? Heck, doing it in the same style for the Tiberian Sun tracks would probably sound amazing.
The victory theme/score screen is the Act on Instinct remix, but you have to listen carefully to distinctive parts to make the connection. I agree that Act on Instinct should have been another individual music piece.
I wonder why everyone had to evacuate the city so quickly that there are cars backed up on the exit roads. I thought Tiberian spread was slow and that GDI would have got everyone out in time. I would love to see more content detailing the post-apocalyptic side of the Tiberian world.
I don't know, it could be the aftermath of the ion cannon strike and the following liquid tiberium detonation, that reached cities in south eastern europe, that weren't yet affected in mere hours. Either way it is unsettling to look at these rows of vehicles once harmlessly used by a thousend hands for better utility, covered in a strange substance which would spell doom upon touching the chassis, a deed once a no-brainer becoming lethal, while the remnants of these vehicles slowly wither away......
i started a remix of that one awhile ago but never finished it so its at the top of my list. And I really want to do Mutants but the beginning part is a real problem to try to recreate and I don't want to do the song unless I can nail that part.
@@MattMajcan Thats a really good song too. The intro will be difficult. It sounds like a highly synthesized, vibrating bayo stick, like this: ruclips.net/video/C2TvK5NuoSY/видео.html
What a beautifull modernization of the classic Frank Klepacki C&C-track. Overall sound quality is super high level and audio mixing is balanced and spot on. Great job, Matt! As you are so solid synth composer, I have a request for you. Any chance you could make your extended take/remix of this short suspense cue track extracted from movie "Fletch" (1984) composed by the legendary Harold Faltermeyer: ruclips.net/video/AS5cbOGcOSE/видео.html. This is not released in any official movie soundtrack. Just loving the melody and thematically would fit your style of re-composing perfectly. Its np if its a no go, but gotta ask. :) Take care and may the composing gods be with you, Matt!

An absolute masterpiece of a remix to one of the best OSTs in TS

Two dislikes when I got to this video. You jinxed it.
Tiberian Sun is so distopic, but the soundtrack have a optimistic vibe at the same time.
