- I don't know what world I am living in but I cannot believe I get to do some of the things I get to do. @ErikJohnston pulled me away from my wood carving to take a ride in the L39 doing some close formation work in North Texas. What an incredible thing to get to do.
The number one way you can help my channel is to share videos you like on your social media streams.

I'm so jealous!!! What a fun time!
JIMMY!!!! What's up man. Thanks for watching. See you at Sun n Fun.
Thanks for flying with us Bryan! Apologies to the traffic at 7:00 that will forever be "no factor".
😂 Fox one! What a shot!
Man that sure was a fun day! Thanks so much for coming out and a big thanks to Chris “NEO” Lamprecht for taking you flying!
Next stop-supersonic!
Buckle your damn helmet strap Ensign! Oh, wait sorry, flashback to my first T-2 Buckeye flight in VT-10 circa 1987.
Nose wheel maxed out with Bryan in the back seat.😂😂😂
I was about to call the FSDO to ask if they’d heard from you. Much like a toddler you only worry when they go silent.
11:57: "How're you feeling?"
"100 percent."
....and Bryan looks down for the "bag". 🙂
Congrats Bryan, you my friend are living the dream!!
if you were flying Fokkers instead of L39's you would have been a flight of 4 Mother Fokkers.
I'll be, I thought we were going to see a whiddling demonstration.
That was awesome fun!
Keeping my mouth shut is killing me, but I'm trying to be less of an a-hole as I get older. Verdict's still out.
That landing, leave a little center-line for the rest of us.
😂
Howdy Bryan with a "Y". Chuck with a "K" here. After having a serious plane crash 4 weeks ago, I hope this IS the most exciting thing to happen to you in the rest of your flying journey.
Destroyed my friend's plane, but swam away (crashed in Granger Lake and ended up upside down underwater) with just a couple of cuts on my forehead. God was with me through the entire experience. My last two landings since were among the top 3 best in my life though, so I might have sharpened my skills a bit. This is my first posting about it.
Trading Paint conversation 7:20 while flying tight formation. AWESOME!!!!
I came here for the wood whittling so I'm a tad disappointed.
😅
Fantastic Video, Just Superb! 😃
That was awesome! I'm guessing the Comanche felt pretty slow and anemic on the flight back. 😂
I love that your silly airplane videos you started with have created these opportunities! You've shown a real creative talent and it's opening doors!
The four ship looks like fun.
You did a fantastic job of communicating the experience to those of us lucky enough to watch this video. Well, done. Nice job in the front seat as well.
Ha! That was eye candy to watch!! 🤤 Awesome coordinated formation and nicely filmed. You took those 2G's like a pro!!!
WOW!!! How Fun!! That is so Cool! What a Great opportunity. Thanks for sharing, I'm going to watch that several times.
You are one lucky bastard. Hats off.
that is a fact.
That looks like so much fun!
Looks like a lot of people are taking a ride in the L39. Maybe you'll upgrade your ride and change your channel name to Jet Plane Silly. :)
Bryan, you are one lucky son of a gun!!!
Great video! Thanks Bryan
How fun!!!!
*Buckling helmet optional! 🤣
Awesome video. That must have been a blast.
What an experience! Very very cool!
That was a fantastic intro 😂😂😂
Outstanding video. Thank you.
Listen to this guy, "most exciting thing... This year." Also I was expecting a Polaroid camera after you switched to the selfie stick gopro
Hot looking jets.🛩️🇦🇺
Form flying, good fun! Well, daytime. Night or IMC can get a bit icky...
I totally thought this was going to be your birthday gift from Erin this year. Yes, your wife is that cool! Eric is cool too, I guess.
Was that Garmin demonstration of their new AIM system, who hasn’t wanted to be able to do that at least once while in the pattern
Wow! I'm envious.
Hey BrYan! Can't wait for your Skydiving video with Christy! 😜😛 I've always enjoyed your warped sense of humor and the crazy stuff you come up with the channel, but THIS is the kind of stuff that I really look forward to. Okay, the wood carving was cute, and I got the expected end of it, but flying formation in an Albatross? That is seriously cool stuff, and I'm very happy to see this sort of content on your channel.
Bryan, that looked amazing. What an opportunity of a lifetime to get to experience that. You did a great job showcasing the flight. Keep up the excellent work. Safe skies my friend 🇺🇸🛩️
A mate here in Melbourne Australia took me for an L39 flight a few years ago. Amazing ride.
Thought this would be jab at all the busting TFR's lately. And in particular the one key that couldn't find the Cessna that was in question that busted the TFR.
However, I was not disappointed. This was awesome. I felt like I was riding along with you. Very fun!!!
Bryan, didja facd-palm when you watched the video and realized you never buckled your helmet? 🤣
This is the first I'm learning of this lol
Checklists......... helmet strapped?
Would have been exciting if you had to eject😳
I like the bass line.
when that smoke came on then you become aware of the speed
Are your seats hot in the L-39?
Outstanding as always!
Okay, here's what I've learned. I need better friends! I wonder how much they cost.🤔 Glad for you, though. It looked awesome.
If you anticipate doing more exciting things than that in subsequent years, then your life is WAY more exciting than mine! That was awesome! "Traffic no factor." 🤣
Excellent !
Bryan, reminds me of the AeroShell T6 ride I got in the #4 position as well. Seemed like the tail wheel of lead was going to impact our front window! Great ride from Mr Fordham! You should come do some formation clinic with the Cessnas 2 Oshkosh group. We’ll be down in Kerrville the Friday & Saturday before Mother’s Day. Let me know if you are interested.
that was awesome!
I love whittling my wood too, but might stop for the chance to fly jets!
Was that you in our way when we were doing approaches in the Baron?
Bored with the Comanche? Now when you make the line in a 121 you'll be thinking: "Man, this ain't nuttin' compared to that L39." 😄
Now that is one to stick in the book Bryan, not many get the chance to fly in a 2 seater jet let alone fly in a formation.
Nice
I'd love to do that. 😃
Next video ride with the Thunderbirds or Blue Angels? If I can ask, is that your back yard? I noticed the brick house in the background. My wife likes brick houses. Great job on the woodcarving.
Yeah all the houses here are brick just because of storms and tornadoes and such
So cool!!
so.... you couldn't even get the knife thing right ?? (scissors?) LOL I like when you do serious vids.
Actually it's the only marginally correct whittling knife I own it's actually a carabiner with a knife blade that pops out of it and it was some promotional merchandise from light speed I picked up at Oshkosh but yeah the bottom of it looks like scissor handles. In hindsight I wish I would have used something even more ridiculous like hedge trimming shears
@@JustPlaneSilly That would have been funnier. Thanks for the vids. They brighten up my day. FYI... I'm doing career 2.0 as you are considering. I'm 52, and just finishing my IR now.
did not know the t-birds or blues sometimes bump....that must peg the neddle on the heart rate
Did you remember to do the carb heat check during the run up?
Saw a guy at the Poteet, Tx Strawberry Festival who was carving on a large tree stump with a chain saw. He said he was going to make a dolphin. The ex father-in-law asked me if I knew how he'd do it. This older lady in front of us perked up to listen to his answer. "He's going to cut away anything that doesn't look like a dolphin." I thought that was a good explanation. The lady in front wasn't so impressed. What does she know? Has she ever carved a dolphin out of a stump with a chain saw? My money says no.
Bryan, you didn't have your helmet chinstrap snapped...
Awesome day! Was the Thunderbird pilot’s call sign “Sticky”?
Can someone tell me where I can buy the wood chipping knive that has the integrated paint nozzles? I will later finish watching the rest of the video.
If you're not first.. you are last! Guess I am last! at least for the moment
👍✅🤣
Dunno man, if yer not actually in the military, formation flying seems like begging to become a firey crater....
Fly it like you STOL it
