They say that without introducing immigrants, it is impossible to deal with the threat from China, but China currently does not introduce immigrants at all. H1B visa workers are commonly paid less than native workers for the same job. Companies that rely heavily on HIB hiring do so to save money on labor costs, not because they are hiring the best talent available.
And those workers pay less to acquire their skills than Americans do. Maybe Americans should be allowed to deduct their loans form their taxes so as to level the playing field. That's one way to handle student loans.. they get paid back while incentivizing people to get useful rather than DEI educations, enabling them to pay off their debts in a dignified manner.

2.3 MILLION Americans graduated from college in 2022. Nearly SEVENTEEN MILLION people attend American colleges and Universities right now. The H1B Visa program allows 85,000 into the country. That’s only 3.7% of the graduating class. If the top 4% of US college graduates aren’t competitive with 85,000 non-Americans, what the hell is going on?
A quote from Vivek and I wholeheartedly agree. "Our American culture has venerated mediocrity over excellence," Ramaswamy wrote in a long X post that argued that foreign workers improve the US economy. "A culture that celebrates the prom queen over the math Olympiad champ, or the jock over the valedictorian [the top student in a class], will not produce the best engineers," he wrote.
H1B was here for generations. Most are doctors, engineers and scientists. I have no problem with that. Besides, there’s only 15% of H1 B. I rather have these people than the illegal immigrant because we don’t know their background and wasting our taxpayers money.
H1b should be for when we don't have skilled workers, but we do. The issue isn't their skill. The issue is they "don't work hard enough" which can be very nefarious when you have people like Musk asking people to work 80 hours a week. A part of the American dream is having work life balance and not being abused.
Especially if they'll work for half the wage of a US worker. Indians come to graduate school here in the US because a TA position pays MORE than the developer job they can get in India.
@mfer134 the H1b is indentured servitude without the benefit of becoming a citizen. It has nothing to do with race or DEI. If you don't believe in borders then abolish the passport system and birthright citizenship and allow anyone the right to travel worldwide. But you will have to change the laws. Instead you are playing both sides while the little guy with the h1b is exploited. My standards for citizenship would be much stricter than birthright. But people do have the right to travel and work under common law. The problem is corporate law versus common law and people are gaming the system while exploiting poor people.

Yes, let’s let Americans compete against a global applicant pool for all jobs because education and training are obviously so terrible and unaffordable here. Americans are unqualified and I guess it will remain that way. It has nothing to do with cutting labor costs apparently…
Found out that they have been issuing way more than 85,000 a year.. "According to USCIS data, in Fiscal Year 2009, a total of 214,271 H-1B petitions were approved, meaning that many H-1B workers were approved during that year." I asked ai how many h1b workers were approved in 2009 and that was the answer. It also said that that was a 22% decrease from the previous year. This h1b topic has opened up a serious can of worms.
I've been saying for years now that I'd love to be a fly on the wall and listen to him talk about how he feels about his supporters behind their backs😢
Straight from AI.. Oh I thought it was only 85,000 a year.....wrong! "For fiscal year 2009, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) received around 163,000 H1B petitions, but the exact number of approvals isn't specified ². It's worth noting that the number of initial and continuing H1B visa approvals has averaged around 329,000 per year from FY 2009 to 2022, with approximately 115,000 initial and 214,000 continuing approvals ¹." Now let that sink in...
Also felt stupid for people who ranted racially because all people here are immigrants basically. Also for a land that was discovered due to India feels really bad how they speak, it just shows how uneducated people here are. Instead they should speak for betterment of education system here in America

Well, if us Americans didn’t receive such abysmal education, rendering us simple, maybe they wouldn’t have to hire outsiders. But Americans don’t take education seriously.
Actually, I am trying to get a discussion going about the brain drain the UK is going through, someone mentioned a British couple where the husband was an engineer and wife was a teacher, moved to America and doing well. That benefits America and a big loss for the UK. Skilled and educated people moving overseas is a plus for any country, make no bones about that. I thought Trump wanted to bring back jobs to America and stop illegal migrations, I don't remember him talking about highly skilled and educated jobs only going to Americans. You banned highly skilled people working in America, then countries will banned highly skill Americans working in their country, it is how it works.

America has way way way too many billionaires not Mexicans we have a big overflow of billionaires we are now in a new age the age of the billionaire
Elon musk graduating, US and saying people went to school US they not smart want to bring to US cheap labor What happened to graduating college?
Are you having a stroke?
Elon is the new President
Maga just go buy more Trump stuff . You got no voice!!!!!!! 😂😂😂😂
This is so true. Maga minions were nothing more than a vote for Trump. He will discard them now.
Trump is already back tracking on his promises! Wow, what else is new from this Trump guy!!!! There's nothing new here, so get your popcorn out 🍿 🍿 🍿
Trump will side with anything that helps him to stay out of prison.
They worked this out way ahead like over a year ago.
It's amazing to see the resilience of Bitcoin, even amidst the U.S. regulatory standards. Trump victory created a major roles including a substantial fine and leadership changes, signal a significant shift in the cryptocurrency market. Despite the impact on the financial sector and the crypto market, BTC seems to have emerged unscathed and is once again being hailed as a safe haven asset. This is a testament to the value and potential of this relatively new asset class. There hasn’t been a more better time to start trading, thanks to Aria Cookings Crypto strategy I have been able amass 19 BTC in three weeks of trading. Her expertise and knowledge of the crypto market are unparalleled and I feel incredibly lucky to have found her.
The internet is filled with so many useful information about Aria Cookings crypto
What I appreciate about Aria Cookings. is her ability to tailor strategies to individual needs. She recognizes that each investor has unique goals and risk tolerances, and she adapts her advice accordingly.
The key to financial stability is having the right investment suggestions for a diverse portfolio. Many investment failures and losses happen when you invest without proper guidance.
Productivity is never accidental; it is always the result of careful planning, dedication, and consistency.
I appreciate the professionalism and dedication of the team behind Aria's trade signal service.
Who would have thought a business man would want this
The billionaire or maga Trump threw maga under the bus lol
Time to wake up usa
2.3 MILLION Americans graduated from college in 2022. Nearly SEVENTEEN MILLION people attend American colleges and Universities right now.
The H1B Visa program allows 85,000 into the country. That’s only 3.7% of the graduating class.
If the top 4% of US college graduates aren’t competitive with 85,000 non-Americans, what the hell is going on?
There is a different visa for smart people. This is for slave labor.
@albertmiller3082 Those 85k people are willing to work 80 hrs a week and they don't ever complain
DEI for MAGA is so WOKE.
MAGAists outjerked the Hollywood now don't they
😂😂😂😂😂
America being for Americans is WOKE 😂
MAGA was always racism with a different name
Wait! So, America's going to defund education here, then hire smarter people from over there? Isn't that counterintuitive? 😕
There is no shortage of American talent for the tech sector. It's just about cheap labor which seems more appealing for the employers
False - there is indeed a shortage of talent.
H1B was here for generations. Most are doctors, engineers and scientists. I have no problem with that. Besides, there’s only 15% of H1 B. I rather have these people than the illegal immigrant because we don’t know their background and wasting our taxpayers money.
Generations?
@@davidmiller532Yeah it started in 1990
I have see. h1B recipients be brought in below market cost to then be” trained” the basics on how to do the job!
It’s good to have debate in democratic society. Both sides have points so good to have more refined policy.
H1b should be for when we don't have skilled workers, but we do. The issue isn't their skill. The issue is they "don't work hard enough" which can be very nefarious when you have people like Musk asking people to work 80 hours a week. A part of the American dream is having work life balance and not being abused.
Trump, a billionaire and a GRIFTER, is now bowing to the billionaires.
Of course we want highly skilled people to come to the USA.
Especially if they'll work for half the wage of a US worker. Indians come to graduate school here in the US because a TA position pays MORE than the developer job they can get in India.
So they can displace locals like the Europeans displaced native americans?
@@nathansire6623 if locals are educated, they can compete. Are you suggesting locals need protection? Has the same smell as a DEI program to me.
Oh wait, you wanted people that voted for Trump to understand the ‘nuance’ of immigration policy? Please 🙄
Hell yeah, shut down the department of education they are woke
THIS IS NOT ABOUT MONEY OR PAY. THIS IS ABOUT NOT HAVING THE QUALIFIED SKILLED AMERICAN WORK FORCE . APPLE TIM COOK APPLE CEO SAID IT BEST ( IF I NEED ENGINEERS, IN AMERICA I CAN BEARLY FILL A CONFRECE ROOM. IN CHINA I CAN FILL UP A STADIUM.) I AM IN THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY AND WE DO NOT HAVE QUALIFIED SKILLED WORKERS. ITS NOT ABOUT PAY. WE AMERICANS DO NOT VALUE EDUCATION.
Somebody have to manage and do the HR on all those smart people. Black people will take those jobs
Under the garb of MAGA, so much hatred hurled against Indian is really distressing experience. The day will come when we people from Bharath will give answers for sure.
I don't really have an opinion on this because it's not my field and I don't really know anything about how it works. The reasons I support Trump are on a totally different topic.
Yes, let’s let Americans compete against a global applicant pool for all jobs because education and training are obviously so terrible and unaffordable here. Americans are unqualified and I guess it will remain that way. It has nothing to do with cutting labor costs apparently…
Piece of paper from anywhere doesn't mean intelligent.
Blame the parents and kids for not caring about education
Pull yourself from my bootstrap and stop lazy
I thought Trump planned on giving Americans jobs... That H-1B visa screws me over just because I am an American - talk about racism.
😂😂😂 it shows Maga is not a cult.
Wow these people don't believe a single thing that comes out of their two-sided mouths.
High tech jobs always give earnings to the country.
TIME TO REMOVE COUNTRY CAP ON GREEN CARDS
Elon dominated Trump last week
by blocking CR.
Now he dominated MAGA. 🤣🤣
I've been saying for years now that I'd love to be a fly on the wall and listen to him talk about how he feels about his supporters behind their backs😢
Hey Elo Baby, just drop another 250.000.000. In the pot, that will help get sll the visa you want.
He called his flock basement dwellers and they still voted for him. Just sating😂
I dont think theres enough "MAGA" folk opposed to this to call it "maga vs musk" lol
I don’t understand the concern with H1-B all the sudden when the door is wide open and countless numbers of people are coming in and they will work for cash, cutting earnings for many more citizens. 🤷🏻♂️
Well, if us Americans didn’t receive such abysmal education, rendering us simple, maybe they wouldn’t have to hire outsiders. But Americans don’t take education seriously.
Doesn’t matter your political or financial/social leanings. It’ll always come down to the battle between the nerds and the prom kings. 😂
I think what set this off is them saying Americans are stupid and lazy. Horrible idea to present it that way.
Impeach Trump and eminent domain spacex and tesla in California
Guys:
Elon and Vivek (from day one) supported legal immigration and stood against illegal immigraiton though, both legal and illegal sound same to ears....especially on a public speaker or mic with full of wind out there during November. LOL!
High schoolers partying with drugs, alcohol, and reckless behavior like gun firing now trying to break into top tech companies-dreaming of roles requiring the math and physics genius cultivated in IITs in India by relentless hard work-might come across as entitled and envious of those who truly earned their spot through discipline and dedication.
These are 80k people only that have specific skills…
you'll voted for this, deal with it MAGA.DUMP play you:ll
All the educated Indians from india are very rich. Americans cannot afford college anymore
Make India better
No, make only fans womens and drag Queens greater 😂😂
Take example from Canada.
Canada got truckers and criminals from India lol
Because Canada took khalistani
Free Luigi Mangione ❤️ thanks again
Great news
Lol if you look at the data, we actually have more underemployment in the service sector which is filled more with cheap immigrant labour (labour or illegal)….. i guess taco trunks doesn’t affect big tech as much.
The USA can instantly free up almost 300K good paying jobs for US Citizens, just by remove the H4-EAD privilege for the spouse of H1-B ( as was the case before May 2015). that will also relieve pressure on housing price in the 50 biggest US cities to some extent... as some newly built neighborhoods in 2023- 2024 have more than 50% occupants that are on H1-B and their H4 EAD working spouses.
It's a mega Maga clash
This has now gotten distastefully political. I’m going to have to avoid this channel for a while.
I love elon for this! He needs to allow the Top 50 STEM university graduates to stay under an O1 visa!
h-1b is not easy as well people go thru many hurdles just to get it
@JSRTales true.
What you need to know is that Elon Musk played MAGA to get to Don Old Trump, and Elon is now in the process of chucking MAGA under the bus. Ah, Schadenfreude ❤ feels so good!
I see nothing wrong in the US welcoming that one in a million Indian or Chinese person to work.
It hurts China by causing a brain drain.
The best ICOs emerge during alt runs, and Adaxum is proving to be one of the strongest candidates this season.
Anchor looking like reading news in a school assembly 😂😂😎😎
Trump obeys in advance.
It benefits him not to invest in education. He’s conned America again 🤦🏻
People keep forgetting about the extra terrestrial H1 B
