- In Episode 149 we discuss how we, the church, can be one as Jesus prayed to the Father in John 17:22. To do that we must study the Spirit of Prophecy as mentioned in Revelation 19:10. When we know what it is, then it is important to know why the spirit of prophecy is necessary, and also for when is it relevant? Without the answers to these questions, will we attain the unity needed to persevere to the end?

The only reason I am going to my current church is because of Walter and Martin reminding me that the wheat and the tares must grow together. I have found a way in through the Sabbath school lessons. I bring a voice to the message and others who agree are speaking up. We must be cunning as serpents yet, gentle as doves. We have a mission.

I've been Sunday church attendee for 23 years..
Besides, Jesus kept the Sabbath, Genesis says, 7th day Creator God blessed the 7th day to keep holy.
God retrained and reminded Sabbath to all Jacob's family when exodus Egypt with Manna. The last fact is that keeping Sabbath in heaven meeting on Sabbath day
I just bought a whole set of king James version Bible CDs with Alexander Scourby narrating it. I’m gonna listen to them in my car. My advice is that everyone gets a set of the Bible CD 💿’s to listen 😊 and to take every Word into their soul. “Thy Word is a Lamp unto my feet and a light unto thy path.”

This is Just great....God indeed has and will always have His servants on ground....When I joined the church 2019,I hated writings of Ellen White,I started criticising it in my self defence, only to find that my own arguments could not hold water even within myself, that's when I finally started reading her books,started with great controversy(I would encourage those who have not yet studied this book to start),steps to Christ nd some.I found that God could continually speak to me through those.

2 For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; 3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; 4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?
The best chapter to read is “The Ministry of Healing” chapter 41.
It’s such a beautiful chapter!
Page 425 paragraph two, She says, “We should not allow our feelings to be easily wounded. We are to live, not to guard our feelings, or our reputation, but to save souls.”
The only thing that should be focused on self, is that Jesus died to save us. He bids us go bring others to Him.
“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! Isaiah 52:7

I picked up Desire of Ages in the darkest period of my life. I found it when I was feverishly looking for answers in my sorrow.
It changed my life, also.

It is a very good point; however, the love of Jesus must eminate in the giving of reproof… Jesus’ heart was aching with love as He uttered his reproofs. Many Christians offer reproof without the love, making the word indigestible from their hand. The love must show toward the erring.
If people are not experiencing some aspect of the spirit of Prophecy currently they will never experience it fully

Ellen White actually said; if people would just read the Bible for themselves they wouldn't need the testimonies? That is paraphrased of course. I read her writings because they agree with my understanding in the Bible
Wow 😯. I’m a new student of the SDA understanding of scriptures! Having said that, I’m still here listening and learning because my spirit recognizes truth, but I haven’t heard the health message yet! What I knew from my reading of scriptures without a church behind it; I saw a diet of meat and I saw a diet of a vegetarian, so I must say I was confused 🫤. I was raised on a standard American diet that didn’t always work for me! I do however eat meat but clean meats and was told I need them due I’m unable to maintain a weight above 90lbs! My doctor has finally after following my weight for years diagnosed me with what he called a hyper metabolism! So I have to now wonder, would the diet of a vegetarian be what my body really needs? And would I be able to finally be break the 100 lb mark? I think I need to learn the health message of Bible! Please 🙏🏻 point me in that direction. Currently I eat all organically sourced but eat meat for the protein! Help me Walter!

I’d like to add, when a person rejects EGW, they don’t reject her, but Jesus, Rev. 19:10, “the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.” Furthermore, Jesus as Michael, gave the Spirit of Prophecy to Enoch. He preached the Spirit of Prophecy for close to 320 years. Now, some people were convicted and turned from their evil way, but at the time of the flood, only eight people were saved. Now personally, I believe God laid to rest many because they too old to go into the after-the-flood world. Just as I believe now the faithful are being laid to rest because they can’t make it through the time of trouble. But, I digress, the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy and rejecting this lesser light will make it so you will go to Satan’s side. Do you want to give up your eternal life because you reject the testimony of Jesus?

I am learning all the time thank you, things seem to be getting crazier by the day in this world this morning I couldn't believe what I heard they said we shouldn't think of God has a he because of the gender issue I was so shocked when I heard it this world definitely needs cleansing.

I wasn't interested in Ellen White, but I read the Great Controversy out of respect for the Professor expecting to find it riddled with constructs and theories, but I have to say, I find no weak points in the entire book... not one. That's pretty amazing. Now I'm reading Prophets and Kings. Again... it's really good. I'm still trying to determine if Ellen White is a prophet, or something else. She has a quote where she says she's a messenger, not a prophet. But now I'm wondering if the title is really that important. The writing is amazing, I'm learning a lot; maybe that's enough.

Thinking of the death of the rebels in the wilderness which is discussed in this video, one striking fact is that although all the Israelites were 'saved' by the blood of the Lamb covering their door posts, only 3 actually made it through to the promised land. So many in this day and age believe that once they have come to Christ for forgiveness of their sins, then there is nothing more for them to do, but wait for Jesus to come and take them to the promised land. But there is a journey ahead of each one. Some of the journey will be through dry and desert places. We need to learn to trust and obey God along the way. Surely that is the lesson that Kadesh Barnea teaches us.

A pure vegetarian diet when origially prescribed by God had a much higher nutrional value than today. While it is possible today to have complete nutrition that way, it is also very difficult, not always avaialble to everyone everywhere, and even more expensive when one considers a pure organic diet. Over the pst decade+ we have reduced our intake of beef/chicken/fish to once or twice per week, we still consume eggs, and yes, even his very favorite: cheese! :). During the past year we have finally purchased a home with enough land to plant a small garden of about 14 raised beds so we can grow our own fruits and vegetables, but it takes a long time to develop the trees and plants as well as the expertise to grow food properly.
I have watched Walter Veith since 2008 and find him a blessing but...his inistence that anyonne that is not a vegan is not a true or commited Christian is unfortunate and even legalistic.
who is the church?
"God has a church. It is not the great cathedral, neither is it the national establishment, neither is it the various denomination; it is the people who love God and keep His commandments. Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. ( Matt. 18:20) Where Christ is even among the humble few, this is Christ's church, for the presence of the High and Holy One who inhabiteth eternity can alone constitute a church." UL 315.5
She also says it is not the will of God we split form the church to make independent atoms...
And have the Spirit of Prophecy, which is the Testimony of Jesus Christ. See Revelation 12:17 & Revelation 19:10

Best Spirit of Prophecy book for new Comers & those returning is the: Desire of Ages - you fall in love with God & Jesus there.
I ❤️ recogmend it as something to re-read as one re reads Gospels yearly.
Many denominational theology Schools promote it as one of the best books written on the gospels. Many preschers of all faiths preach off of information & thinking 🤔 there.
Just think, it was written by a woman in the 1800's who had only a 3rd grade education. 🤔 certainly It was Holy Spirit inspired & not made up by the author.

I never heard that about Ellen White before. That’s really interesting and awesome.
Make sure you take the time to diligently prayerfully study carefully. Sometimes you even have too search for original meaning so you can answer objections when they are presented to you. Make you also understand that a prophet is a prophet and the inspired word is from God, whether it was Jeremiah or Daniel or John or Ellen White. The word of God is equal across the board, even if Ellen White was humble enough to say that she is the lesser light and that the Bible is the greater light, in reality they are equal from God.
Just the index to her writings fills up 3000 pages. That is incredible, and she has never contradicted herself in all her writings.

The spirit of prophecy gives us the order of events clearly that we find in the Bible.
Many are looking to the latter rain to revive the church but the counterfeit latter rain which is Spiritualism comes first. “These works of apparent healing will bring Seventh-day Adventists to the test.--2SM 53 (1904). {LDE 166.4}” Many that do not have there faith in the testimonies will be deceived.

I find it amazing the absence of God in ecumenism; rather, the God of the Bible; not the god of pantheism and nature.
There was a contingent of fanatics in my SDA church growing up that used Ellen White as a weapon. I never read her until I was about 30 years old for that reason. After reading her works, I love them now. We must be careful how we use these but think of the damage that some have done to the faith of others with this mindset I experienced earlier. How many others have been "turned off" by the misuse of her writings?
Looking Forward to this Episode. So Many Questions. So Many Lost. So Few with Adequate Answers. I Trust the Wisdom of Prof. Veith & Mr. Smith,... But I Also Worry that, "Come Out of her," has Far Deeper Implications the the ones we Prescribe to it. Referring simply to the 1st Beast of Ancient Religious Rome. Especially for those watching that are so blindly part of the 2nd Beast, serving her with the Patriotic Nationalistic Pride of a Crusader for the false Peter Pantheon Vicor king. I Worry About the Laodicean Church with such the Overwhelming Potential of Worldly Deception. May the One True GOD, Jesus Christ The WORD, Lead US Unto All Understanding.

I feel the same way but I always remember many are called very few are chosen. And a lot of people just refuse to love the truth and so be saved. God sends them a delusion they believe the lie that's deep. 2nd Thessalonians 2:9 through 11 And I don't know what to do about those I just pray that they come out before it's too late.
God has said he will do it. It is not for us to worry but to do what he has asked us to do, grow relationship with him & tell others of him who wish to know. He is in control! 🙏

I'm sorry to hear that your friend has been caught up in this great deception that is sweeping through our Church.
I keep seeing it especially in RUclips comments. People attacking the Sabbath and using lunar Sabbaths as their excuse to not keep Saturday Holy.
Unfortunately we are in the shaking time and many who do not take the Lords words as literal and do not have a love of the truth will be shaken out. I pray your friend will find their way back. Maybe point out to them that the Jews have always kept the 7th day Sabbath on Saturday and that the weekly cycle has not changed since creation.
It’s good to be aware of the dichotomy between Rom led critics on EGW and the here presented view, and I appreciate the truth that I discover through this channel. For testing EGW by scripture the prerequisite would be to study scripture apart from EGW’s interpretation of scripture - which becomes difficult once accustomed to EGW’s interpretation. The defining of interpretation and hence narrowing it down may be seen as a taking away / adding to scripture.
Another question that I have not yet received an answer to is in claiming that EGW manifested all the signs of a biblical prophet, whether she was in line with 1Cor 14, 32 - i.e. God allows freedom; Holy Spirit inspired prophets can deliver their message freely, whereas satanic mediums are under full control of the spirit that is speaking through them. Also to consider that deception wouldn’t be deceptive if there was not a high amount of truth in it.
Jesus has given us to pray 'deliver us from evil' and 'let your kingdom come' not to give us an occupation but these prayers are necessary to be prayed. We receive according to faith, prayer and faith go together, i.e. these prayers are to be an expression of our true expectancy. Many times the fulfilment of Bible prophecy looks quite different to what the prophetic word itself suggested. So God’s people appear to fully understand prophecy only in hindsight. Still seeing the fulfilment thereof strengthens their faith, which appears to be the real purpose of prophecy. Also the full context to prophecy has to take scriptures into account such as Exodus 32, Ezekiel 22, 30 and Acts 12. Expectantly waiting for the coming of evil as fulfilment of prophecy is incubating it similar to participating in satanic rituals.

We have some alphabet people going to our church, it’s a couple they are married , they love Jesus very much and I have told them my beliefs on their choice that I agree with the Bible, we are still good friends and I have been praying that God will interrupt their journey and they will choose a different way, a Biblical way. I do think we should allow them to come to church because we all come to complete truth at different times. What are your thoughts on this???

Walter, I recently found a strange change in the Bible. Ephesians 5:11, the verse on your total onslaught series. It says "expose". Now it says "reprove". How and when did this happen? There are several words that have changed, ie: wineskins, grain, expose, lion and the lamb, and many more. I have a rainbow study Bible and it has a list of 200 words that have changed. Do you know anything about this?

There have been been many prophecies already which have not all been published. Just watch RUclips and you will find many, but they have to be examined first as some of them are not scripture based. There are also many books that are on the shelves which also needs to be checked first. Ellen White gave her heart to Jesus when she was 16 and lived up to 84 if my facts are correct. She did a lot of writings, based on prophecies that she received over the years. She has all the characteristics of a prophet and all her writings is in line with the Word of God. Just the index to her writings consist of 3000 pages and she has never contradicted herself in all her writings. As far as I am concerned, she is one of the greatest prophets that ever lived and yes, she has lived in the end times in which we are now.
As a church we need to drop the vegetarian banner. We were vegetarian before the fall and we will be vegetarian again in heaven. Nowhere in scripture are God's people condemned for eating meat. Yeshua ate the Passover lamb with His disciples the night before His crucifixion. Abraham fed Yeshua and the angels meat when they came to His tent. Issac ate the game his son hunted. The priests were to eat portions of the sacrifices! Over and over and over we have the eating of meat. If one wants to follow the original diet than so be it. But we mustn't make others feel poorly for eating meat. We have a list of the clean and unclean meats God told us we can eat in Leviticus 11. Vegetarianism isn't a prerequisite for salvation so we need to get off that bandwagon as it would appear that the SDA religion is a works based cult. We don't need anyone guilting meat eaters into the kingdom of heaven. Before the fall animals didn't eat each other. After the fall the animals ate each other. In heaven the animals will no longer eat one another and we will not have the desire to eat them either. There are many places on this planet were people must eat animals to survive. Please abandon this false doctrine and lets focus on whats important. I know far more healthy meat eaters than healthy vegetarians. Most of the Adventist vegetarians I know are addicted to sugar and are just as unhealthy as anyone with any other dietary lifestyle. There are far too many people who want nothing to do with this church because of the vegetarian banner. Colossians 2:16
I love the work! Just curious what your take on Romans 14:2 and 1 Timothy 4:2-4 are. These two verses support the eating of clean meats, and not just fruit's, nuts, and veggies, although nothing is wrong with eating those things, Romans 14:2 specifically states the weak eat only vegetables, and Timothy talks about abstaining from foods that have already been declared fit being a false doctrine.

Jesus referred to the day period being 12 hours Joh 11:9. As a full day consist of a day and a night, as referred to in Genesis, it will be a period of 24 hours. This is confirmed where Sabbath period, 7th day, is explained from the evening till the next evening, one full day. Lev 23:32. The creation referred to physical days of 24 hours each which also demonstrates God's power to create. God does not need 1 millions years to create something. If God can answer a prayer, one voice in five billion people, immediately, He can create the whole world in 6 days.

A question on praying. Shouldn't we pray through the name of Yahushua instead of in the name? He didn't pray in His name when He gave the structure of prayer? He Himself said no one goes to the Father except through Him. We are saved through what He did, not In what He did. I'm just curious in this regard, everyone has their own way of praying, I'm just trying to learn and know the truth.

We have a sister in our church that for her and her girls had to divorce her husband because of emotional and physical abuse. Her ex-husband is still emotionally abusive saying they are still married in God's eyes. And that she is still to submit to him. Do you have any advice I can share with her on this.
God doesn't want people to submit to abuse. Satan's methods are to control and abuse.
A husband is to love his wife, that does not mean rule over her.
I think she should pray about it, and marry him again and leave the matter in the Lord's hands. Because indeed they're still married in God's eyes....
Marriage is an agreement between two people to love each other until the end. Love is NOT emotional and physical abuse as those are actions of satan. A relationship between two parties needs to be based on the same faith and obviously, in this marriage it was not the case. The woman needs to go onto her knees and pray to God to send His angels to protect her and her daughters against all the attacks from satan, his angels, powers and municipalities in the air and his agents on this earth. She also needs to forgive him for what he has done to her, and to herself where she has failed. She needs to believe and trust in God's assistance and know that He will answer her prayers. She needs to believe like a child, and just know that God will do that which she has asked from God., and do not think about it anymore. Prayer is such a fantastic tool that each one of us have to be able to speak to God, the Most High, directly, and He answers all prayers. That is a real privilege that all believers have.
I dont think God would want her to be abused. God is love. This man is committing grievous sin against his wife ( or ex wife). I would stay away from him, for her own safety and that of her children.
