After years of using one on the trail, I started using one at home during the quarantine. I just couldn't see getting that bent out of shape about toilet paper. I wished I made the shift years ago.

Lifesaver! I own 3 Kula Cloths now and they have been truly helpful for hiking outdoors. I am glad I don't need to worry about carrying gross TP with me, or leaving anything behind. This video inspired me to check the Kula Cloth out, so thank you for sharing.

I'm a fan of the basic bandana or pack towel pee rag. I find that out West the sun kills all the germs and it never really needs to be cleaned until I come home.

Another way to clean it is to add the rag, soap and water into a ziplock, zip and shake. 🥸

I love my Kula cloth! I was so excited about the product that I went back to their site and bought a couple more to give to my friends. :)

I have never heard of this until TikTok a second ago and had to RUclips it. Thank you. How many times do you use it before you wash it out?

Good idea, but I am a Norwex fan and use Norwex for wiping our baby's butt and poop with a small Norwex body cloth very similar in size and cost to these, then simply rinse out with water, rubbing the cloth against itself to clean it and ready to be used again all week. I didn't hear you say you can use these for poop, only that they are pee cloths. You also didn't mention if you rinse them right away after wiping yourself or how to be able to use it again on the same hike if you need to use it again. Also, in my opinion they don't look like they feel soft or gentle like the Norwex cloths. You don't need to worry about touching the back side of the Norwex cloth as it is embedded in silver and nullifies the bacteria and proteins. I also feel the designs are abrasive looking to be wiping your gentle areas down there. Why not a leaf or rose petals or water or clouds? If I had a yoni I'd prefer those over rugged mountains, trees and branches or unicorn horns. The space one is nice. But in all reality, it's for cleaning pee and poo and a simple plain gray Norwex Body Cloth does the trick! Can be hung on a small carabeaner as well!
I started using Norwex when I lived off grid and wanted to stop using dish soaps and other cleaners and detergents so I could save the gray water for our plants. These Kula cloths are cool, but I think they are trying to mimmick what Norwex has been doing for decades already. Let me know if you'd like a link to try it out. 2 yr warranty too!!!

Everything except the "keep water sources clean" makes sense to me. A few drops of urine washed off in a stream is literally a nanodrop in the bucket. Just rinse it in a stream. Sure, I get not using soap, but hey... considering the amount of animal urine in the water, a few drops of human urine is a-okay.

Geez, I can't believe there are so many precious, overcivilised pampered princesses out there! Just pop a squat like I do, bounce up and down a couple of times to shake off any drops and pull your pants back up! You don't need toilet paper or anything else when you're in the bush! Get over it!

Someone tried that trick in tussock country in New Zealand and had to pay a considrable fine for the fire they caused. I see it happens in the USA too. "Man arrested in Pipeline Fire said he was burning toilet paper".

Why not just use biodegradable toilet paper and bury it like ppl do with their #2 🤦🏽‍♀️

I work on a river Corredor and we teach people not to do this because there’s over 5000 visitors any given week. If everybody did this, it would be a field of land mines at every campsite. The best practice is to pack it out even in areas with good soil and vegetation. If you think it makes good fertilizer, then take it home and put it on your own garden. Biodegradable, toilet paper is just capitalism‘s way of saying it’s OK when in reality it actually isn’t. Hope this helps.

People are overthinking something we've been doing for a million-plus years. A pee cloth? Really? Paper doesn't biodegrade? It takes 2-6 weeks. This is tailored to women who think they need something special which should be a major red flag to men. In reality, women are sort of amazing. Meant to shoulder the burden of much needed procreation while doing so with dignity, stoicism, and matriarchy. Not to make RUclips or TikTok videos.
