The update is good enough to get me excited, especially when my boy shallot finally gets some attention after getting neglected for years since he reached ssjg form, that new tutorial update gives me hope that they will bring in the training mode to test out a lot of teams on this mode.
this brings back so many memories back in early 2020 when ssj3 shallot was actually a MAINSTAY on some good teams. I remember running the dude on saiyans with zenkai kid-ku and the dude would work so well. Watching this video almost looks like nothing ever changed and shallot is just modernised for 2023 meta, the damage he is doing is exactly how it was like back then, maybe even better

@@Eric-kf9vx the utility that shallot gets in ssjg is on par or a little better than ssj3 since every top character uses a cover change it’s a necessity, plus with all of the teams he’s presented with he literally just gains green cards whenever you want so he basically has infinite card draw speed as well as a knock back.
Right? And the green card being a dash forward with no blast armor makes it so much harder to land. If the green had blast armor I'd be cool with no cover null other than there but I wish he had a lil more

yes, ssj3 is the top dog but his other transformations arent half bad as well. Super saiyan makes him a decent all-rounder that can deal good damage on late game + he can get bardock buffs, Ssj2 gives him endurance and turns him into blu bardock for ssj2 units and ssj god is also a good all-rounder with more buffs depending on his health, oponent's vanish etc. def a gigantic W for the game
@gnome from pinkerton i mean not really tho, ss1 has permanent +2 card draw speed with a dead ally (and no time limit) and a gargantuan amount of buffs from that. and imo even if god is the least good of them, he can still nuke with blue cards if you build him correctly. hell, even base is decent

Bench is pui pui for extra hp, new buutenks zenkai and majin vegeta zenkai to double zenkai buff the buu bros. This setup goes crazy, all three sponge damage like it's nothing and the combo potential with shallots post transformation main, gokus card draw nonsense and buus green card is insane. Also. It's very hard to actually set up but it's possible to have the transcendent kamehameha activate with the crit buffs from shallot
actually been using ss3 shallot in advanced coop and not a single player has disbanded which interests me, he actually does pretty good damage for not having a boost and i have been outdamaging boosted characters even. i have maxed his strike arts boost so that helps a bit
While I don’t play this game anymore and haven’t since the release of Ultra Gogeta Blue, I’m really glad to see Shallot get a huge, yet much needed overhaul. It’s great watching him absolutely steamroll the best units in the game. Will this bring me back to the game? No. But it’s still good to see.
@@tokenman12 yeah man sometimes seeing some cool new things is a bit tempting to make me install again, especially if a favorite character gets an LF or Ultra. But as Goresh said in a past video, it’s very much so a pay to win game. I’ve spent money on Legends before and it’s no different than gambling in reality. There will always be a better character to come out to top the last you summoned for, that’s how they make their money. Their F2P content can be good without a doubt but it’s gets harder to grind the more you do. I had to stop playing since I always found myself wanting to reach for my wallet. Not worth it.
Considering how the meta is rn, i think it’s a good step for shallot to be this strong FOR A WHILE coz anniversary is almost in 10 days now and those characters might overshadow shallot. But I love seeing shallot beating the crap outta the best units🤣♥️
