  • This lecture, "Transcendentalists of Egypt, Greece, and Boston", was given on May 8, 1983 in Los Angeles.
Hall makes a comparison between Plato and Emerson, as well as the Neoplatonists. As always, Hall distills this knowledge in a practical way that can be applied to one's own life.
The transcript for this lecture may not conform to the spoken word, because it was edited by Hall himself and published as "Lecture Note 323". We felt it was best to faithfully represent his corrections, which are usually quite minor and mainly are for readability in text form.

A most powerful and complete sermon on spiritually and enlightenment. Sadly few are devoted to eternal goodness, beauty, and truth.

This is gold, and MPH’s deadpan wit has me smiling as I nod in approval at his wisdom, e.g, “The individual who forgets himself comes closer to his own soul.”

This brilliant man did more in his twenties than most will fall far short of in their entire lifetimes. I only wish more people were aware and could gain knowledge from his brilliance and wisdom . I do understand people have a prejudice for their chosen religion, but the Creator cannot be disputed with any rationality. MPH was the second greatest Mason in American history, Albert Pike was the first, but, I can feel the unseemliness, as Pike himself admitted the Masons revere Lucifer, the morning star.
Regardless, MPH understood the human psyche, and is a wealth of enlightenment.
    All glory goes to God.

I am a slave to my Daimon. He keeps me self-disciplined and avoiding error. He is my best friend. He shows me wonderful things. He is a god-man trying to help me to become a man-god. Silence. Solitude. Stillness. My Daimon rends fire from the night sky.

Interesting how this cover art and title only yeild 3k views thus far. I guess the less popular subjects or un-engaging titles disintrest the masses. such is life. I wonder what MPH would have to say about thet state of "Today" versus the great 50's - 90's. My opinion, I think he would have retired his efforts. I just hope these uploads actually help people rather than enlighten them for 5 days until a new neurosis or despotism should arise. I also wonder how much of the audience has read MPH's guru Albert Pike, and the mass sentiment of the man. Because MPH, is a protege of Pike.
