Kenya suits every black person, both of you could be mistaken for similar kenyan tribe or two different...that's how diverse we are. Kiswahili accent from Kenyan coast is similar to TZ. We write/ speak proper kiswahili for official forums e.g TV news. Sheng is more casual, you're fast learners. Karibu Kenya.
How are you is not "uko aje". It's "habari yako", or just "habari" which means Hi in short without finishing the whole sentence. Kiswahili street language old school is "Niaje" which would mean whatsup.
@@Dolledupandthangs“uko aje” is literally “how are you” but not proper as a greeting. It’s best understood as a query of someone’s condition for example in the context of someone who is unwell A Swahili speaker would understand and respond appropriately though if you direct it as a greeting.

My thinking on long term sustainability is "earn in dollars" like she said if you try and do the small businesses returns are very small. Maybe high end property there where you charge rents in dollars or passive income from the states.
Sasa Dan! I love what you’re saying here 🗣️your on the right track and soo right! Usd will sustain you here in Kenya and the Airbnb is definitely alive here it’s very much everywhere though soo getting the location and pricing right is key as well as decor in Creating that vibe. She’s still looking to invest here just taking her time with the business however real estate is a great choice just needs to be about the location you know and price. You can still do ksh for the price just around the usd pricing for airbnbs in the states etc.. just has to match the price.
This was fun to watch my friends don't understand what I mean when I tell them africans have more freedom than us.
Asante sana for the comment and like! 🤗💯 I’m soo glad you enjoyed the video! More to come! 🙏🏾🇰🇪

We need more videos from him❤
Ndio he will definitely be on his page more often and eventually a family page! 🤗💪🏾💯🇰🇪
The phrase "I am coming" is actually more Kenyan (Swahili) than British, meaning " I wont be long"
"I am coming" is an African thing. Same here in Ghana !
Mena is my girl in REAL life ❤ -Mela
Aayye Ndio so you know first hand how amazing she is! 🤗🙌🏾💕

Ndio I’ve been a number of tribes since moving hapa! And Ndio keeping up with the learning pole pole 🙏🏾🇰🇪🥰
How are you is not "uko aje". It's "habari yako", or just "habari" which means Hi in short without finishing the whole sentence. Kiswahili street language old school is "Niaje" which would mean whatsup.
Ndio I remember these! I’ll use them asante! For the information! 🙏🏾🙌🏾🫶🏾🇰🇪
@@Dolledupandthangs“uko aje” is literally “how are you” but not proper as a greeting. It’s best understood as a query of someone’s condition for example in the context of someone who is unwell A Swahili speaker would understand and respond appropriately though if you direct it as a greeting.
@@andrewndambuki6097 oh Sawa I’ll definitely remember this asante Andrew🙏🏾
I'd say Juneteenth is the day black slaves in America realized they were free and some of them didn't even get the word yet but many of them did. What was your guest's name? You should have put her social media details on your feed.
Yes that is true Jayne 🤗 about Juneteenth as well! And she asked not to be @ her name is Mena and she just wanted to share her story. 🙏🏾🇰🇪
Let her go back and prepare probably.
