Another cool video, Justin! I adore Crawford's world building tools - I had a blast using the Stars Without Number one. I realize I've said this before, but it bears repeating: Kevin does great work.
Obviously, I agree on that second part (humility prevents me from being able to agree on the first!). I haven’t met a Crawford title I haven’t loved. Scarlet Heroes is my least favorite, and it is great! Dark horse for most underrated is Wolves of God… who would write an entire game from the perspective of a dark ages monk?? Kevin Crawford that is who, and it works!
Lol. You know I must have forgotten about that being the default setting. I was reading more for how he handled the culture, laws and organizations (all well done) and decided I was doing Chicago just because that is the city I know the best. Glad you enjoyed. If you want a copy of the form shoot me an email to booksbricksandboards@gmail.com and I will send it over.
Hey Angelo, thanks for watching! The CWON videos were about average as far as performance goes, I average about 1.4K per video overall, and these have been around for a few months and are just getting to the point where they are slightly about that point. Also, the solo play videos have been largely lower performing (exceptions being my Book of Beasts and One Ring plays, which were more teaching than playthrough). The last major topic to cover for CWON would be a solo playthrough. It isn’t a given I won’t do one, but I have had other more timely topics to cover lately, and solo plays take a lot more prep and work than a topical video. That combined with the lower performance places them at a lower priority than other topics for now. Hopefully that explains my process a bit. I know that solo plays are a viable topic, but I think my approach must not click with my viewers because they just don’t take off for me.
@@AceneDean Possibly, I have since this time switched jobs and as a result time constraints are different. Also, solo plays have been lower performing in both interaction and views, plus take a lot more time on my part. So not saying I won't do it, but it is not at the top of my video queue for now. Hope that is a fair enough answer.
@@booksbricksandboards783 that is fair. I'm sorry they don't get as much interaction or views, though. I wish I could snap my fingers and align other people's interests with my own. Haha

Hey! I just noticed the deck box on your shelf. Do you keep anything RPG-related in it? While I'm at it, I'd love to see a tour of your gaming supplies/supplements. I find those really interesting!
Absolutely, yes I do! I have. A few different deck boxes and most of them have different RPG stuff. Axbane’s Deck of Many Dungeons, the GM’s Apprentice, decks for Starforged and Ironsworn…. I will definitely think about doing a shelfie video and explore some treasures and oddities! Thanks and God bless!
@@booksbricksandboards783 Your channel is genuinely among my favorites right now. I love the feeling of down-to-earth youtube as opposed to highly polished, tightly scripted discussions. What you do is really enjoyable to watch, and I hope you get a lot more attention soon!
Appreciate it, glad you like it. I only know how to be me, so no plans to change how I do it. Sharing thoughts on games brings me joy, awesome that a few others enjoy hearing my thoughts!

May I ask? Why did you stop the series? Videos even were among your best performers? Was the gameplay not good?

Awesome! I am super excited to see the solo play with this one! Subscribing!
I will probably look at running a solo in the next few weeks, good possibility this will be the one. Thanks for the sub!
@@booksbricksandboards783Are you still hoping to get to this one?
