You forgot to mention the coolant refill procedure before starting the vehicle. This would be fatal to the engine. Otherwise, this is a very good video. Thank you.
Disconnect the battery to replace thermostat?
What size screw is the screw for the thermostat housing
Hello, maybe you can help us, 30 cars, we have this problem. Love how it warns not to get antifreeze on your hand and then the guy just completely soaks himself with it. Also you don't really need to remove the whole air filter just the large intake tubes.
And wouldn't it be wise to cover the intake hole with something to prevent any debris from getting into the turbo?
what is a torque specifications for that housing???? Cant find out any information on that at all over the internet
just torque it by hand untill it's snug, it's plastic so you don't need to overtighten it, if it drips tighten a bit more
25 nm
Wow...not as simple as back then.
Woahhh so don’t put any coolant back in? Just start it up?? Okay sounds good lol
My thoughts exactly.
@@milahgoode Me too.
I was just about to rewind and you saved me a step. Haynes sure has gone down hill from my last hardcopy book. The fill and bleed procedure is the main thing I was after.
Atleast it won't leak!!
@@brentfugett2700 could you explain how to get the air pockets out when refilling?
This video doesn't really make a good case for paying for the service. My complaints are echoed by the comments.
Wow, if you need to be told how to open and prop the hood, this is probably beyond you, and you have a cooked engine since didnt tell you to refill it
