    What a voice! It's almost impossible to state who is the best Dalila of all time because each artist brings something special to the role, but Borodina is definitely among the best. I love this rendition.

    I am in bliss. I am in heaven. Such beauty. Even more than the next aria of Delila's which seems to be the most famous in the opera. This aria of hers as she is by herself is horribly underrated.

    Pourquoi toutes les chanteuses prononcent elles la liaison "t" au lieu de "z" pour : "viens aider...". Il y a un "S" à "viens" et non pas un "T" ! Et j'en ai écouté un bon paquet , elles font toutes la même erreur ! Alors comment se fait-il qu'il n'y ai personne dans leur entourage musical pour leur dire ! c'est fou !

    Bella voce. Peccato che non si senta nulla, perché manca completamente la proiezione, a parte nel SIb acuto. Tecnica russa...bah. Ascoltatevi la Verret e vi rifarete le orecchie.

    • @POLITICA84CIVITA
      @POLITICA84CIVITA 8 лет назад +1

      marina cantele von gutherz la Verret è spesso crescente e ha una voce molto più sopranile. Che non è proiettata la voce dove lo sente?

    • @meto2854
      @meto2854 7 лет назад +3

      Actually Verrett is inferior to Borodina in this role, mostly because she never managed to join the lower and middle parts of her voices, and she regularly uses strange and audible transitions from one to the other. Having sung taxing soprano and mezzo roles throughout her career might be the reason of her disjointed middle, because the balance of the transition shifts when you change fach. She is a great Delilah and I enjoy listening to her in this role, but Borodina is absolutely the golden standard in this.

    • @marinacantelevongutherz1884
      @marinacantelevongutherz1884 7 лет назад +1

      Borodina has a gorgeous voice, but her technique is tipically russian. It means that basically her sings (beautifully) to herself, but the voice does not have any projection. The orchestra covers her voice all the time, only the high SIb reaches the place that all the singing should have in space.

    • @meto2854
      @meto2854 7 лет назад

      That might be the case, I have never heard her live. I am only judging from what I have heard online.
      But I doubt the 'russian technique' encompasses "basically singing beautifully to myself as the orchestra covers me". There have been a multitude of Russian singers in recent times, both mezzos and sopranos who have no trouble with the French or Italian repertoire, despite their training or technique.

    • @marinacantelevongutherz1884
      @marinacantelevongutherz1884 7 лет назад +2

      This is absolutely true. But generally those are singers who includes belcanto technique, harmonizing with their own. Like Netrebko .

  • @mickyalexandru6894
    @mickyalexandru6894 4 года назад

    Very beautiful voice colour, but NO style ! That's typical Russian technique, from the end of the 19th century. She sounds like Amneris singing in Gibberish. No feeling for the French language or words.
