Zoom's driverless car met with an accident resulting in death and the public confidence is also down. Kevin asks you how much do we pay to settle the case and what would be our response to press & public? If the government asks us to stop any trials with autonomous cars, how should ZOOM face it and what would be the financial and strategic implications of this?

      Hi there,
      • A thorough internal investigation into fault between Xota and Zoom.
      • A statement made about the tragedy without admitting blame.
      • A complete black box style assessment into what went wrong and how to stop it from happening again.
      • An out of court settlement if necessary.
      • Do not try to cover it up. These things get found out and then it is worse if you covered it up (Uber data leak).
The government is unlikely to stop it but if they do research should be continued behind the scenes. As they will allow us to test again once the technology has improved (the government are for it). The strat/financial implications would be less impactful at this stage as the product is still in the R and D phase. A longer term ban could cause a change in direction though.
      Kind regards,
      Pete

Dear Peter Thank you so much for your session. It helped me gain a lot of confidence and finally I cleared the exam in that attempt.
