I just made this for dinner. Had to take the heat out for the wife but then added some for my son and I. Wonderful. And yes, I cheated and used minced garlic lol.
Did you see that Better than Bouliilion came out with a Sautéed Onion flavor?? I found it at Walmart. I was totally surprised. Haven’t tried it yet but I will soon. So good. I also finally found the normal sized jars of the Roasted Garlic. For years I’ve only found the small jars. So happy they are selling the normal size now. Yeah.
Great recipe, Jeff. Made it immediately but did dial back the heat in deference to the family's taste. Next night when thinking about how to reheat the leftovers, I thought how about a casserole? Packed the pasta into a sprayed baking pan. Topped it with bits of melty cheese. Baked covered 30 minutes @ 350 degrees. Everyone agreed it was even better as a casserole.
I had to go back and listen again...yes, you said it! I did hear that throw away line correctly. 😆I don't even want to think about the amount of hair that is ingested in my house. Too many four legged room mates, 🐕oh and one man.
I'd LOVE to lay out all the ingredients but alas, I live in an apartment with, combined, a foot and a half of counter space. So yeah, this doesn't work for me. One day I'll get a place with maybe TWO WHOLE FEET of counter space!!!
Prep up∆ put last ingredient you need on bottom/ cover, next ingredient on that/cover, and so on. If you don't have room for instant pot and prep I'd put one of them in sink till you prep , add all to pot then place on your tiny counter.. non of ingredients are going to take a tot of space.. some cheap plastic bowls all popped on each other 😊
That's one hell of a dream, these days. But I believe in you! I have a separate rolling cutting table (WITH A WINE RACK AND STORAGE BUILT IN) saved to my wish list. Can I afford a place with reasonable counter space that I can make more than a lunchable on? No. But I CAN supplement my counter space with cheap online purchases. And I SHALL.
Hi Jeff, another winnah! I was drooling 🤤 over this (not over you, sorry not sorry heh). Question: I buy dried fettuccine already formed into little nests. Could I float the nests of fettuccine as is inside the pot and cook them under pressure? Would love your thoughts about that.

I totally enjoyed this issue or episode of your pasta Lapalma. However, I can’t seem to get over looking at your hairy darn chest! My wife and I like to watch you but this one was kind of yucky because of that. We are not prude or anything like that. But our kitchen has certain standards, particularly with two teenage boys and one teenage girls who love to cook. It’s hard enough to get them to wash their hands… Let alone being cautionary when cooking with chicken. My wife thinks you are handsome and has nothing against your gray black hairy chest… But not in our kitchen! By the way the garlic tones in this dish were absolutely extraordinary
