Sorry there is many many drag racing combustion engine cars running faster then 8.25s! But yes it is one of the fastest production cars in the 1/4 mile

It's not faster than a nitromethane power car in the quarter mile, even though they only run to a 1000 ft nowadays unfortunately. Top fuel dragsters and funny cars could run the quarter mile if allowed in sub four second times.
