I never was a Skater Border! But when I did jump on one I could ride it just like a Surfboard and it was tons of fun, we used to take them up to the top of the hills in Honolulu, HI., and sit on them and ride down the street like a Porsche, the only problem was all we had were our rubber slippers, so I would put them on the bottom of both hands and use them as Breaks to Slow down and take the Huge curves of the winding road to the bottom of the Tantalus Drive better know as Round Top! It was a great way to take the curves, felt like a 20' foot wave! After a day of that I was ready to go back to ridding the South Shore perfect Waves, the 70's was the best days in Honolulu, No Plastic in the Ocean and the Reefs were still growing!!
