He thought that if he could change into a different person it would make his dad love him more - hence why he started wearing dresses and makeup. The 3 boys don't use their father's surname because they chose to disassociate themselves from him so each uses their middle name as their last name which can sometimes cause confusion with people who are not familiar with their story. It is /paleɪ rwaˈjɑːl/ (sorry, my linguistic education kicked in :D). They are named after a venue in Toronto, I believe, where their grandparents met - Palais Royale. Also, the band consists of 3 brothers (Remington (middle child), Sebastian (oldest one, guitar player) and Emerson (youngest one, drummer)) and they currently have also another guitarist, Andrew. They were all at the parking lot, plus their another friend and ex-girlfriend. There was another guitarist (he is featured in a couple of videos, this one included), but he was kicked out for misconduct towards fans earlier this year. If you are interested in checking out more videos, I would recommend Anxiety, which is a continuation of Lonely. Or then they have a trilogy - Fucking With My Head, Nervous Breakdown and Hang On To Yourself). All these songs are from their latest record, The Bastards, which is much heavier and more rock than their previous albums (Boom Boom Room Side A and Side B), which were more pop-rock-ish, in my eyes anyway.
