(Disclaimer: I have zero experience with kyudo and my limited knowledge comes from the anime, “Tsurune”, so my opinion is completely unqualified, but here’s my thoughts anyways! Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong.) I felt that the technique from the 中央 group was really clean and precise, because they put a crisp emphasis on pulling the string back only after they‘d raised the bow and arrow. The style of the 法政 group seemed powerful (their entrance was impactful!) but they seemed a bit messier in terms of technique, cause I feel like they pulled the string back as they were raising the bow, which was less visually satisfying compared to seeing the string pulled back only after the bow and arrow had been raised. They have different style in shooting. 中央has shomen uchikoshi style which brings up bow in front of you while 法政bring us bow with some angle that is shamen uchikoshi. If you’ve watched Tsurune, 中央 style is the same with Minato and 法政style is the same with Nikaido-senpai.
