One thing I absolutely love about this music video is how Taeyeon's eye color changes throughout the video. At the beginning, the "free" Taeyeon has grey(ish) eyes and the waitress Taeyeon has brown eyes. The moment the waitress Taeyeon goes outside and sees the butterfly, which inspires her, her eyes begin to subtly change its color. When she walks out on the sidewalk and frees her hair, her eye color is already visibly lighter than before. When both Taeyeons meet at the beach, the camera even zooms in on their eyes, they changed completely: now the ex-waitress has grey eyes and the "free" Taeyeon has the brown eyes. The "I"s that appear on screen are also kinda grey and brown and they mold into one. It's a really fine imagery to how Taeyeon seems to "find" herself and managed to bring her two sides into a more fulfilled and complete one. =)

One thing I absolutely love about this music video is how Taeyeon's eye color changes throughout the video. At the beginning, the "free" Taeyeon has grey(ish) eyes and the waitress Taeyeon has brown eyes. The moment the waitress Taeyeon goes outside and sees the butterfly, which inspires her, her eyes begin to subtly change its color. When she walks out on the sidewalk and frees her hair, her eye color is already visibly lighter than before. When both Taeyeons meet at the beach, the camera even zooms in on their eyes, they changed completely: now the ex-waitress has grey eyes and the "free" Taeyeon has the brown eyes. The "I"s that appear on screen are also kinda grey and brown and they mold into one. It's a really fine imagery to how Taeyeon seems to "find" herself and managed to bring her two sides into a more fulfilled and complete one. =)
