You are a hidden treasure! This and your other videos are a world class performance! If you were born in early 20th century, you would be world famous, for sure!
These Video's are great ! I recently purchased a 1928 National Hawaiian German Silver Tri cone guitar # 945 . It sounds great just like the instrument in the video. The instrument that I purchased had some minor issues with the solder joints in a couple of places on the neck around the 10th fret area giving the instrument low action down around that area . They say this is rather common on the vintage Hawaiian Tri cones. I was wondering if your instrument had any problems with that ? Thank you Sebastian for sharing your great talent with us all .
Aloha, great you are enjoying your new Tricone. Mine was mechanically in great condition, the issue was that original cones sounded pretty bad, after swapping them it sounded aweseome !
I think mine had new cones installed also they look really clean and sound fantastic. I also finally received and am enjoying the CD that I had ordered from you , it was well worth the wait . Thank you , Keith Lyon
I like you Sebastian! I have been waiting for a great arrangement of this jubilant number from the great Sol Hoopii. As always, you have carried the baton for him. Can't wait to start learning this one too. MT
@@HawaiianSteelGuitar You aren't kidding. I sometimes have to think about the swing feel before i even try to execute the moves. It's a swinging tune for sure. I love the singing that Sol's band does also. MT
i spelt it wrong it's palakiko blues. Chris Ruppenthal plays it on a dobro and weissenborn. The dobro reminds me of the brighter sophisticated tone of your national
Sebastian, this is a swinging number. I'm still trying to perfect it after a few months. I won't stop until i have control like you lol. Do you know Pakika blues? I can picture you playing that one on your National squareneck also. Whenever i need inspiration i just go back and watch and listen to you play. cheers! tom in maine.
You are the man!
We have to collaborate
Yes 😁!!! I will be in Paris in January, let's hook up, hope you are around !

Thank you so much for your kind words, Eldar. There was quite some competition on the steel guitar scene at that time 😊!

Note perfect at a nice relaxed tempo. Very nicely done. What tuning are you in?
Glad you like it Ken, I am using A Hibass !

It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing, and oh boy, it has. Don't make Django mad.....
