I grew up in Hastings and lived there for 42 years, had to laugh when you said living here as a 17 year old must have sucked LOL Yeah pretty much all we did was drive up and down the strip and hang out at fast food places! But I wouldn't have had it any other way, looking back now. I am hoping to move back to Hastings someday to be back near my family and friends (currently living in Red Wing which is more affordable and right down the river from Hastings, you should do a video on Red Wing- historic and good for tourists).
hi! i live in hastings. the foamy thing at the top of the hill used to have a long slide. it was broke a few yrs ago. love our little river town.

Wife and I are looking into Hastings or Red Wing.
Very cool!
I grew up in Hastings but have lived in Red Wing for about 7 years. Red Wing is more affordable and more touristy, for sure. There's also the big bluffs you can hike on, where Hastings is pretty flat. Red Wing is more hilly in general with more wildlife. Hastings has more traffic and more stores and of course is closer to other cities, where in Red Wing you feel pretty isolated, which can be a good or bad thing!
I grew up in Hastings, but love Red Wing - both are great!
Would be great to see u do some east,west,north, n south St.Paul tours for some that might be looking for something alil diverse, but great vids n keep it up for Minnesota 👍
I love how you two discuss how a town feels as in cozy for instance which is very important to me and how you compare it to other towns/cities. Would have loved it if you gave us a walking tour through the downtown.
