calling the iraqi army cowards? they were ready to fight isis but last minute they had orders to stand down from their generals when isis attacked, those poor men died because their commander would rather back stab his own people. The least people should be doing is educating themselves on these facts and respecting those fallen soldiers. The iraqi army is doing so well right now and have taken back so many towns and villages. 100 soldiers in the baiji oil refinery against thousands of isis fighters and they still won. wow what a funny comment congratulations, quite sad indeed that people have to come to the point where they see the truth as lies and lies as the truth
6:14 ISIS doesn't mind the Yazidis? Oh yeah, I guess that's why they gave them their own private mountain, they even guarded it for them... This guy's about to get the shock of his life!
Kurds are true fighters... Highly skilled and they will not back down. Kurds have been through so much, you can't describe it. I really hope that the kurds will have their own country someday! Love and support from denmark
I'm not Arab, I'm not Kurd, I'm not Muslim or even Eastern...but am 150% behind the Kurds. It's time to get off the Iraqi sinking ship and get your independence.
I’ve been to Iraq and it was an interesting experience. It’s 2019 now and I feel like not much changed. I feel like they should continue to handle their own affairs because being back in the US, we have our own serious issues that are undocumented to deal with.
I don't think people realize Kurds are Muslims too when they curse Islam and praise Kurds in the same breath. The Kurds are an example for all Middle Eastern governments. Preach progressivism and acceptance, not intolerance and violence.
What about North Korea? What about C.A.R.? And what about South Sudan? These are just few examples, but trust me, there are plenty of horrible places in our 'lovely' and 'perfect' world.
God, i honestly have a good laugh everytime i see comments like yours. I am from Kurdistan, but the mountainous regions. Even though im not close to any borders or clashes at all, i wouldn't be afraid to go out there tomorrow. What're you afraid of? Who're you afraid of? Terrorists? Those fuckers are just farmers with weapons and knives. Even though they're fucked up in the head, they don't want to kill people for everything. My point is, as long as you behave and dont do weird shit, you'll do fine. And that's the number one rule anywhere on this planet. You can't live with fear controlling you.
@@tareqandomar5761 No,Iraqis Didn't defeat Isis Alone, they left Heavy weapons behind when they fled From isis,They Are Bunch of Fucking Pussies,The Shia Militia fought better.
I loved the interview with the father in the refugee camp. It made all this feel so much more real, instead of a far away, distant thing. Very good reporting here.
@Football Always / كورة دائمًا theyre far from terrorists, theyre the only warriors whove killed thousands of isis rats and retaken their territory, KURDISTAN FOREVER love from US
ISIS is now fighting the Syrian government, Syrian rebels, the Iraqi government and Shiite militias. The Kurds have a very large population in northern Syria and northern Iraq and are said to be some of the fiercest fighters in the region. Best they not piss off the Kurds or they will be digging their own graves.
They are already fighting Kurds in Syria, and the only place they couldn't conquer/defeat are actually the Kurdish YPG forces in Syria. In Syria the only forces within the FSA who give a hard time to ISIS are again the Kurdish Jabhat al Akrad group. One of the main reasons they actually avoid Peshmerga in Iraq, is because the Kurdish forces in Syria have teached them a hard lesson. As long as they avoid us we will avoid them because we dislike this Maliki dude almost as much as they do
revolution4freedom1 I know that there are also some Kurds among the ISIS. but they haven't taken even a single town inside the KRG so what the heck are you sayingt, contrary the Kurds have taken even the last Kurdish territories outside KRG. All Towns which were "conquered" by ISIS are actually Turkoman (Tel Afar) and Sunni Arab (Mosul). Even the Kurdish part of North Mosul, Sinjar is now under Peshmerga control.
it's funny how they're talking shit about the iraqi army and now they ran leaving 50 000 kurds trapped on a mountain, begging the iraqi army to drop supplies and evict them via helicopters
OzKardozi those 1700 who got slaughtered were students in the air force academy in tikrit, not soldiers and unarmed all major new org. are publishing articles and videos about the iraqi army dropping supplies and evicting yazidis
Heval Arda peshmerga had only one battle with isis and they lost it resulting in sinjar falling and it's people (kurdish yazidi) trapped on a mountain you can search on cnn, they're publishing videos of the iraqi army helping, giving supplies, air support to peshmerga hell even barazani gave a statement to thank the iraqi army 3 days ago also isis didn't get any advanced weaponry, because usa never gave iraq advanced weaponry , just Humvees and pickup trucks
If you're going to run at least dont run naked you cowards ... its the iraqi army fault that isis has became such a big threat to the world and there are many witnesses that will prove to you that infact isis rolled up into shingal with abrams tanks and armored humvees the peshmerga is only equipped with ak rifles and rpgs how is that a fair fight .... and your badass looking marines wanna be army lost to them before they had tanks
After watching gore sites of ISIS executing hundreds of innocent people, I can't help but be persuaded to believe that Islam (while I agree it is a religion of peace) caused this extremist group that is devouring Iraq. I hate to say this, but Islamic doctrine is causing this holocaust. My respect to Islamist who may take this the wrong way. I'm completely agnostic, and I believe religious cults do amazing things for humanity. Ugh, it hurts to say this, Islam may very well cause World War 3. And the propaganda is to blame. They need the Internet. Too bad it's blocked in that nation. Otherwise they'd know the world is a pretty okay place, and being kind to each other, not killing, is a beautiful thing.
WizardPlayMC I understand you, but some of those are actually criminals and some are brainwashed, this is not Islam. ISIS is nothing but a product of zionist intelligence
WizardPlayMC I understand you, but some of those are actually criminals and some are brainwashed, this is not Islam. ISIS is nothing but a product of zionist intelligence
Peshmerga is not mutated Persian Pieshmarg. The word was invented by Kurds during WWI to describe the brave Kurds who rebelled for our freedom. And it means Pesh = in front of, Merga = death. Together it means those who face death.
You don´t have to like the kurds, but they are warriors. They would rather die than run, ISIS does not stand a chance against them. The Iraqi army had a good reason to run? What the fuck, seriously?? The are freaking soldiers, it´s their job to fight and protect their country. they outnumberd and outgunned ISIS by far, of course, some of them might have died in combat, but that´s the risk you take when you wear a military uniform. ISIS could have been stopped.
If the cowardly Iraqi army gave their equipment to our Peshmerga, we would absolutely annihilate ISIS. Currently our Peshmerga is mostly using old Soviet weapons, and we still win. If we had the new more advanced U.S weapons along side an airforce, the ISIS would be long gone from Kurdish borders.
if the Iraqis are going to run at the first sign of trouble and not defend themselves as a country and a people when given the opportunity (being equipped with heavy weapons and small arms) to defend themselves from harm, then they deserve no international help
fromolwyoming The Iraqi troops reportedly numbered sixty thousand in Mosul. That's a huge numerical advantage over the couple of thousand ISIS has. Not to mention they had been armed by the United States. No, no matter what else can be said about this, the Iraqi army failed in their duties. I do not believe they deserve any help. Instead, I would be providing the assistance to the volunteers who stepped up when the army ran, or to the Kurds themselves.
***** Not fully excusing them by any means, just pointing out that if they were scared of being caught by ISIS and summarily executed simply for wearing the uniforms.
fromolwyoming Because they did not fight and defend their country, instead they ran and some got captured while running away. If they held their ground and fought back there is a good chance most of them would still be alive and ISIS might have retreated. Although the fact that a whole army deserts suggests it was a very bad army or they were infiltrated with traitors among high ranking officers.
6:09 "ISIS see no difference amongst Kurds, Sunnis, Shiite, Yazidi or Christians. They say whoever shows repentance will not be bothered, they can live normally" I wonder if this man could or would say the same thing as of today. And would he admit he was wrong? or at least admit he was swindled by the propaganda of ISIS.
I lived under isis in mosul until March 2015, and he wasn't wrong they did seem good at first, after years of suffering from al-maliki's government we had a little bit of fresh air, but then things went from bad to worse, they almost shot my father after finding he was trying to call his sister outside mosul.
The ISIS main target is Baghdad, they don't pick fights with the Kurds because they know that Kurds are very protective of their homeland and will fight fiercely, unlike the Iraqi army,
Lol the iraqi army just destroied ISIS and took karkuck from the Kurds they were trying to steal the lands The iraqi army wasn't ready to get into any fight onse they were ready they took back every meter. keep inmind the isis's main goal is iraq not kurdstan
@@ابراهيم-ذ2ي7ت Its now known that ISIS had infiltrated the areas they occupied like Mosul, and the Iraqi army had been divided with traitors in high ranks.
@@andreyz2436 back to 2014 nori al-maliky send order to the iraqi army in mosul to retreat And then isis took mosul and ramadi the arrived to baghdad then the sheit had fatwa to fight against isis they were just volonters they successed to protect baghdad After noori was gone the iraqi army rebuild it self and start a real war with isis in four years the(iraqi army, sheit forces and the kurds took isis down) the main force was the IOSF I am arabian i shouldnt hate kurds we should just stand togethor to protect the whole iraq.
***** You're stupid. Kurdish people have been fighting ISIS better than Iraq have done, but now Turkey are bombing Kurdish forces in Turkey. Kurdistan is large, and it should be its own country, but the only way to solve this war is if Kurdistan gives its new land to back to Iraq. Next they team with Iraq, and eradicate ISIS forces.
Claudia Dominguez but NATO will not give them make it because next step of kurdish people s get back all territories Kurdistan. Turkey is part of NATO.
+sorankurdi with barzani on power i doubt it, he only want power and money, he doesnt care about other kurdish who not support him, use peshmerga to show his power, and let the other kurdish militias on their own, hope you crushed the turkey ambitions... good luck
The Kurds are the world's largest ethnic group without a country of their own and have been oppressed recently or are currently being oppressed in every country that they currently reside in. Yet most people have no fucking clue, go figure. This whole thing is very confusing to me. Iran claims they want to fight ISIS and maintain the sovereignty of Iraq. However, ISIS is born from Syria, a place where Iran has spent a great deal of money financing both sides, while Saudi Arabia only funds one side. That and they historically hate the Sunnis and the Iraqis. Iran also sponsored al-Qaeda and many other foreign fighters when they entered Iraq after the US invasion. ISIS seems like bad news for peace and sovereignty in the region, but it is pretty hard to trust Iran's claims of wanting to maintain that sovereignty. Furthermore, ISIS claims it wants a Pan-Arabian Caliphate, as does the Muslim Brotherhood which is another group and goal Iran supports. At this awkward intersection of religious ideology, ethnicity, want for peace, desire for instability, and geo-political struggle I don't think anyone really knows what should be done and whats going to happen. Meanwhile, while every in the region is standing around with their dicks in their hands, Iraq is falling to pieces again and may not be whole AND free for quite some time. It is a shame.
Actually Isis was born from the U.s invasion of Iraq Originally was ISI Islamic state of Iraq but added the S after becoming involved in Syria (which they retreated from to focus on Iraq) Stop looking at Middle Eastern interests and look at how the west literally adds fuel and then a spark to ignite it. If only Mohammed had picked a proper successor..
WUT? Iran is not funding Muslim Brotherhood in fact they are not funding sunnis except Hamas ( and its limited ). Iran ( Persians ) dont want a pan arab state. They are on the side of Assad and are funding hezbollah they dont fund "the other side". They fund shias in Yemen. Iran is not funding Al Kaida ( sunni ) which is their enemy too they funded Sadr militia in Iraq which is Shia too.
They have a political party in Turkey, not one but two. HDP and BDP. Can speak Kurdish anywhere and have Kurdish optional classes in High school. Kurds can work anywhere either.
Pseudo Anonim Iran is supporting Assad. They are also supporting opposition to Assad. They probably do want a caliphate, but not a pan-arab sunni one. Now that we have clarified that, shit is still fucked and complicated.
MrLgmhandler "They are also supporting opposition to Assad" So you are saying they are funding Assad paying BIG MONEY to Hezbollah to fight in Syria and yet they fund their enemies? Bullshit. Please enlighten me then show me proof. Iran is not playing a double game.
We the usa should be giving the kurds all the help they need with no ?'s the Kurds have been screwed by the usa several times before maybe we will finally back them up,
That last time the US give the Kurdish forces weapons Russia accused US for supplying weapons to terrorist on the contrary Russia AK and Chinese copy of AK is the basic weapon of ISIS
Funny how the kurds think how the Shia militia is cowards, well who let ISIS into Iraq without any resistance, because they though ISIS was gonna overthrow Iraq's leaders, so the Kurds could just walk right in there and capture the rest?
+Joserico The Kurds don't attack Iraqi soil because they don't want to have enemies in the international community. If the Kurds were to go around conquering land from countries like Iraq, Syria, and Turkey (which they're more than capable of doing) they would gain a lot of enemies. However, if they capture land from ISIS, no one bats an eye.
BIll Ricker The kurds don't stand a chance against Syria, Turkey or Iraq. And they are already trying to capture land from Iraq and Syria. Especially Iraq. But failing (Of course). Turkey is sending airstrikes on the kurds. Iraq has captured the Kurds capital (Kirkuk) and they still have it captured. I think they captured it in a few days i think, so im pretty sure that since Iraq can capture their capital, then kurds has no chance against Iraq, Syria and turkey combined.
Joserico Turkey probably not. Although Syria and Iraq they would make their bitches. There's a reason they're the only force successful at fighting ISIS you know
Actually he wouldn't die within two days. The guardian and telegraph have been reporting from Baghdad for the whole past week. CNN (and pretty much everyone else) is in Baquba right now, which is only 40 miles away from Baghdad and currently under assault by ISIS because it is the last major town standing in the way on the road to Baghdad. Hell, they have friggin' Anderson Cooper over there right now, so enough with this weak excuse of "vice can't send people down there because it's too dangerous". Everyone else has been in the thick of it for an entire week, reporting from Baghdad, reporting from the scene of heavy fighting for crying out loud, so if everyone else is reporting from the front lines in spite of the danger that they all face, but vice can't be bothered to send any correspondents down there, it is either because they are too afraid, or not interested enough in covering the really urgent stories that are unfolding as we speak.
hmm, didnt realise. just the way CNN were talking they made Baghdad sound like it was about to explode tomorrow, but thats american propaganda for you, i shouldn't have taken it as face value. Maybe thats why theyre not there then, they might want to try get an angle that other news outlets dont (vice seems to enjoy doing that). Also, i think they have a thing for the kurds (vice) because theyve done quite afew stories on them already (they made a doc about them ages ago, also kurds in syria and now this). Maybe vice are predicting the formation of a Kurdistan country and are trying to cover them as much as possible before it actually happens so they can say "we were there" sort of thing.
Maybe Bagdad isnt too dangerous , but if a crew of Americans get caught by the ISIS on their way there they would be dead for sure. You can't expect them to risk that.
USA armed ISIS in Syria as part of arming the opposition. FSA commanders admits to working with Al Qaeda and Jihadist fighters against Assad forces. 60% of opposition forces in Syria are part of the Islamic Front, moderates and secularists make up 40%. Dick Cheney in 1994 stated that Baghdad was not invaded in 1991 because of what is happening now (sectarianism, disintegration and civil war) The Iraq War and occupation was doomed to failure and they knew this since the Gulf war in 91" George H. W. Bush asked for Iraqis to rise up against Saddam in 1991 during the invasion. The Kurds rose up but were abandoned to reprisals.
Fighting back ISIS? Cute. All we can do is hope their momentem stops before the invade The Kingdom or Kuwait. The Kurds will fight to the last..the Iraqis will run away.
Lol they wont invade Saudis ( well for the foreseeable future that is ) because they are funding them ( ISIS ). And Qatar is funding ISIS too dunno about Kuwait.
and why wont they dare? They will have Iraq's guns, tanks, airforce, money...all of that. They hate us...they know how to cripple us. you dont need to shoot us you dont need to even see us. you cut off the oil and we crash over night. we dont have the might to fight them anymore. and The Kingdom is defenseless.
I live in Kuwait and I can safely say they wouldn't dare step across the border. Our border with Iraq is very secure with constant monitoring 24/7. ISIL would be digging their own graves.
and what grand army do you have? Do you have men who have been fighting every day fro three years? And all that lovely tech my country sold Iraq? They would first sneak in and terrorize for some time. weaken you and your fighting spirit. and no one will come to help you.
brenden donaldson ISIL are only ~8000 strong, with a great chunk of those fighting in Syria and northern Iraq. Kuwait has 15,000 active soldiers (with 31,000 reserve), and more advanced weaponry and systems than what the Iraqi army has. We also have several thousand US soldiers stationed in Kuwait as part of a defense agreement. So even if ISIL manages to pass through the border, going through both Iraqi and Kuwaiti troops, they would very quickly be dispatched by the Kuwaiti military. I'm pretty sure they're smart enough to stick to Iraq right now.
It is amazing how wars today are mainly fought with misinformation. I feel deeply for those who have to live in such conditions. I am also clueless on how to help in any way... Depressing
If you actually watched the video and researched about the topic, you'd know that none of it is actually about religion. Religion's just used as a scape goat. A better way, perhaps the only way, to describe the conflict would be that it's an ethnic/sectarian/political/economic conflict. The bloodthirsty ISIS just wants land and money. Kurds dont want them to take their land and money. It's as simple as that.
My Friend how is isis or any of these evil uneducated groups fighting for God in any way? They are fighting for power, land, status, money, oil. if all these things Almighty God has declared 'Worldly things'. which guide people away from Him, then how is this anything to do with God, if anything it is totally against God's Perfect Law. May Almighty Allah Bless and Guide us all, Amen.
Respect to the Peshmerga and the Kurdish people. They have fought very hard and died with courage for their homeland. They deserve their liberty and an independent state.
OzKardozi So sad, your ignorance. Our leaders don't represent us and I thought this was established in the Arab spring. And for us leaving the battlefield and running away like cowards how to you explain those videos where the Iraqi army annihilates the ISIS bases? Religious Sunni and Shi'ite authorities have called for Jihad to protect the Iraqi land from ISIS and you tell me that we ran away? Look at the streets in the Middle region and the south. Everyone is holding their guns ready to fight ISIS. The world doesn't even know about you Kurds so don't tell me they're with you. 500 million Arabs risk getting executed by their leaders if a word comes out of their mouths saying death to Israel. That's what you Kurds are, a bunch of desperate people who want to be their own country that they go to Israel for help, All I hope for is that Turkey invades you kurds and destroys all of you Arab haters who go to Israel for help.
OzKardozi I as a Kurd feel shame for you. You're showing evidence of the same behavior that you mention in your own comment. There are assholes everywhere (in this case TrueArabStory). BUT you must understand that regardless of ethnicity, the vast majority of people only want a peaceful and happy life. And by the way, there are Kurds among the ISIS as well. Don't be so hateful man. Your hate only adds fuel to the fire that is war.
TrueArabStory Your response to his comment started off in a good manner and I agreed with most of it. Problem was that you then finish it by saying that you wish for turkey to invade us Kurds and destroy all Arab haters. But It is a hot topic and feelings sometimes make people say hateful things I guess. And like you, my friends are from all over the world as well. Hope is lost for the older generations it seems. So it is up to us to realize that we will not solve anything by fighting. I think that you both should give some extra thought to what you say to each other.
Mouad Atfi Marxism is a bit outdated my friend, corporations haven't controlled the government for a hundred years, if anything the government controls corporations. Also i never said the insurgents were our worst enemy i said they killed young Americans who seem to have died in vain, no matter who put them there.
***** i should have rephrased that, the government regulates corporations, though corporations don't control the government they lobby for politician votes and donate a regulated amount of money to candidates but mostly what they want doesn't get passed because if it did regulatory agencies wouldn't exist, the economy would be better, and the US would have pollution similar to china's
I've read the Quran (I'm not Muslim). Mohamed said that in the end of times the people killing will not know y they are killing. And the people being killed will not know why the are being killed. He also said there would be trouble in the area of Iraq. And also predicted that islam would be completely misunderstood (even by many Muslims). What is going on today in Iraq is a clear sign by Muhammad that we are surely in the end of times. Oh u who believe, recall the time when Cain killed his brother Abel. If u kill 1 person, in the eyes of god it is like you killed all of humanity. ISIS is clearly killing innocent people (even Muslims) in the name of god... if u are sympathetic to ISIS ask yourself this question, is this what Muhammad really wanted, or is Shaitan (the devil) trying to make you turn away from your Creator?
The reason Iraqi military left Mosul is because the Sunni civilians said they wanted ISIL/ISIS to be with them to keep them safe, so when ISIS came they left there supplies and Vehicles and went to a rendezvous to head back to a Shia city. Peshmega never heard about this that is why there claiming that the Iraqi military and Shia Militia is cowards. Vice needs to figure out this shit better.... Peshmega or what ever there fucking called left to because ISIS didn't want a conflict with them. Running there asses away, the Iraqi Military and the Kurdistan forces both were ordered to leave. Yesterday the Iraqi Special Operational Forces just captured Amerli City..
Only those who lived under Iraq ruled by Shia would know why Sunni's welcome ISIS. I'm a Kurd and I'm happy for them also they are our brothers after all.
He is protected by seriously trained and fearless soldiers... When the Arabs hear peshmerga they run away like chickens so there's no reason for him to be scared
Well im sunni muslim from turkey and I cant tell how sick I am from these ISIS guys and their supporters they are like the %3-5 of the "sunni" group.(we count them as non-muslims but they say they are sunni). We acceptted everyone who flee to Turkey shia or sunni, muslim or not and trying protect and feed them. Before you hate speech please condider the real muslim people like us. I agree all hate on ISIS and they are far away from islam.
yeah strong and fearless warriors..well its easy to play tough when u dont have a gun pointed at ur head or a knife poined at ur throat.and they are standing there making jokes about irak arme.well let me see how strong and fearless they are when isis come to they playground.
As an American I wish that the Sunnie, Shia and Kurds would all put down their weapons and meet and greet each other as Allah would desire... not who could destroy one another. Allah or any god did not put people here on earth to kill and injure one another.
Peshmerga are nothing compared to the Iraqi army Since when were Kurds brave ... I never knew this peshmerga even existed before isis came don't try and act brave you can't even defend your own people you walk behind the Iraqi army then say you "captured" the towns psssshhht
First off America is to blame here because they train the free Syrian army and they actually joined isis so us trained soldiers are training isis fighters and they're funded by the uk Afghanistan and some parts in Australia unfortunately us has to see the facts
Dear Vice, pls make a video on the Wagner group (PMC), which is being used in Ukraine and used to be active in Africa, Middle East and Venezuela!!! Thank you
The iraqi army's commander in the north sold out the army and collaborated with isis. They told them isis was coming and that the best thing to do was surrender because they had no chance of fighting against what isis was coming in with.
On March 21 it is newroz, a day kurds celebrate and put up fires, but this coming March 21 its not that.
As long as they avoid us we will avoid them because we dislike this Maliki dude almost as much as they do
revolution4freedom1
I know that there are also some Kurds among the ISIS.
but they haven't taken even a single town inside the KRG so what the heck are you sayingt, contrary the Kurds have taken even the last Kurdish territories outside KRG. All Towns which were "conquered" by ISIS are actually Turkoman (Tel Afar) and Sunni Arab (Mosul). Even the Kurdish part of North Mosul, Sinjar is now under Peshmerga control.
they honestly seem like they're just fucking with everyone, if they keep poking the hornets nest eventually they're going to get swarmed

Peshmerga is mutated version of the Persian word pieshmarg, meaning the ones who would die before anyone else.
Yeah, so just like I said, both of those words are Persian...Kurds are Persian anyway!
Props to the journalist for literally sticking his neck out to gather this info. You've got guts!
He did say that Iraqi army troops that were captured were mass executed. So, there is that.
fromolwyoming They were captured running. If they had all fought, ISIS would have had their assess handed to them.
fromolwyoming The Iraqi troops reportedly numbered sixty thousand in Mosul.

I had heard stories from servicemen who have been to Iraq about the Kurds bravery and fighting spirit, good to see they are true. Good luck Kurds!
Actually Isis was born from the U.s invasion of Iraq
Originally was ISI Islamic state of Iraq but added the S after becoming involved in Syria (which they retreated from to focus on Iraq)
Stop looking at Middle Eastern interests and look at how the west literally adds fuel and then a spark to ignite it.
Belas reportagens da Vice News, por favor coloquem legendas em português nos vídeos
Joserico
Turkey probably not. Although Syria and Iraq they would make their bitches. There's a reason they're the only force successful at fighting ISIS you know

they should send this reporter down to bagdad and have him show us the frontlines down their
he'd die within 2 days and you know it
Actually he wouldn't die within two days.
Things have changed since July. Bashmakra are gone. Christians are dying because of Isis and no one is doing anything about it.

Everyone is holding their guns ready to fight ISIS.
We acceptted everyone who flee to Turkey shia or sunni, muslim or not and trying protect and feed them. Before you hate speech please condider the real muslim people like us. I agree all hate on ISIS and they are far away from islam.
The Kurds seem to be strong and fearless warriors... they seem to be proud that they are Kurds and want to keep it that way.
yeah strong and fearless warriors..well its easy to play tough when u dont have a gun pointed at ur head or a knife poined at ur throat.and they are standing there making jokes about irak arme.well let me see how strong and fearless they are when isis come to they playground.
As an American I wish that the Sunnie, Shia and Kurds would all put down their weapons and meet and greet each other as Allah would desire... not who could destroy one another. Allah or any god did not put people here on earth to kill and injure one another.
When they drove by the taxi, I thought it would be pretty crazy if they shot at it like it was GTA Fallujah. Then they did.
Peshmerga are nothing compared to the Iraqi army
Since when were Kurds brave ... I never knew this peshmerga even existed before isis came don't try and act brave you can't even defend your own people you walk behind the Iraqi army then say you "captured" the towns psssshhht
Btw sallah aldin was kurdish all u iraqi r just jealous of the kurds
The person at 6:00 is truly a lier
Maybe he didn't know how bad Daesh really was yet. Or he joined them
First off America is to blame here because they train the free Syrian army and they actually joined isis so us trained soldiers are training isis fighters and they're funded by the uk Afghanistan and some parts in Australia unfortunately us has to see the facts
+1 for the kurds man You gotta love em..... Peace and love to he kurds and there resolve for there courage
Kurds are the only group in that area that deserves respect. They are the one of oldest ethic groups in the middle east.
1:54 look how beautiful she is ..
We need to support the Kurds if We Ever Want to See ISIS Out, its the only formidable fighting force in Iraq
Dear Vice,

Thank you
TO my Iraqi Bro's keep you remember where you come from...Love from America!!!!
***** yes they are in north iraq stupid ass
These peshmerga are making their ancestors proud. Unlike the Iraqi army.

Is part two out yet?
Viva Kurdistan! Viva Liberty!
Viva. Viva.
love kurd loveeeeeeeeeee
The iraqi army's commander in the north sold out the army and collaborated with isis. They told them isis was coming and that the best thing to do was surrender because they had no chance of fighting against what isis was coming in with.
Thank you for being out there!
هربجي بيشمركة
my friends and I have taken to calling the Iraqi Army as the IDF, The Iraqi Deserter Force.
They need to plant some trees; it's so dusty there. If I lived there, i'd go nuts too.
Long live Kurdistan
((our hero is peshmerge))
((her bji peshmerge))
On March 21 it is newroz, a day kurds celebrate and put up fires, but this coming March 21 its not that. The ISIS have captured 17 Peshmarges and they are saying that on March 21 they are going to burn these innocent people alive. Please pray for these 17 Peshmarges and all the Kurdish Peshmarges. May God be with them.
It is not cowardly to retreat.. it is cowardly to run away
