I prepare these. In our Telugu it is called Pesarattu. Nearly same preparation but I add onions and sprinkle cumin seeds. No fermentation added. Thank you. I shall try ur way. Yummy.

I tried this recipe today and it turned so tasty. I was following moonglet recipe from some other channel for last couple of months and she told to add rice flour. Today I followed exactly the way you told and the result was much much better, choice of veggies and crispiness was just perfect and everyone in my house commented that Moonlet is tasting very good today😊. I think, you mean PESARATTU OR ITS EQUIVALENT in vernacular,using SABBOTH green Moong pkus green herbs like coriander,mint,green chilly and curry leaves with some type of souring agent, if not usual Tamarind.

But I think for pesarattu you guys use green moong my friend taught me that I am so thankful for that .anyways love all south Indian dishes ❤❤❤

In Andhra it's traditional dish called pesrattu very healthy.....which is made from whole green gram....very tasty....
Actually it's the same thing, only that in south it's thin and crispy and in north it's like pan cake 😊
I think pesarattu is of green Moongdal, with skin. Moonglet is made of yellow Moongdal
