I saw them do this live in 1985.. My first concert at age 12. I also love how they took Cher’s song Bang Bang and incorporated with this song! Great memories!
I come back and listen to this stuff about once a year. for those of u unlucky enough to not be like 18 when this music was happening i feel sorry for u. u will never really underestand how awesome the 80s really were!!! mrsbieberfeverluv I was lucky enough to have to have been able to grown up during the 80's. What a decade! I wish I could go back! Bon Jovi was my favorite band and still a fan!
Bon Jovi did bring the best looking women to every show. Never saw so many scandalously dressed women in one place ever. And he puts on an awesome show Slippery when wet tour was my first show ever and it was amazing
i'm an 83' baby i grew up listening to all of this except i hated the pop and easy listening music in them days it was unheard of being around my uncles as little kid but i did get the chance go see them on their New Jersey Tour when i was five years old they were for headlining with Kiss and Skid Row opened
One of his most underrated songs. This one and She don't me. Early Bon Jovi. Saw them in 85 at joe louis arena in Detroit. Believe it or not They opened for Ratt.
In a couple interviews I saw, Jon said that he didn't like 'she don't know me' b/c it was a studio song that they made him put on his 1st album & that's why he rarely, if ever, played it at concerts. Did anyone else see/hear the same?
My son was 3 when this came out.Im feeding him in his high chair..He started mumbling thensang Shot through the heart..Well, first few words..He was just laughing.I sent him the CD when he went to Iraq..He said he wore it out..Purple Haze got me through Nam..What would we do without Rock n Roll!!??

David Bryan is an amazing Keyboardist, he brings so much to Bon Jovi songs. Jon and David together are pure magic but then they have been playing together since HS days, the magic still goes on. Jon also wrote this song, a brilliant song writer as well as one of the best singers ever. ♥
David is awesome, thank you, not many people say that, he is smiling an happy, Jon gave him alot of credit at the Hall of Fame speech. Awesome musician an person, they all are.
Damn I remember just how HUGE Bon Jovi was at this point in their career. This tour came to town three times and saw them all 3 times they came. Awesome Song Awesome Band
There's a reason why they have lasted as long as they have. They don't get half the credit they deserve for their work in music. Plus as one guy i saw giving a review of a video said he was surprised by the stadium being full of people. He said most rock bands , even the great ones can't do that in those genres
This was broadcast on BBC2 in 1985. I still have the VHS tape of the show. Their first two albums were good but I thought they went downhill after them.
And this is one of the reasons, you realize that in 2018, Bon Jovi is one of the best bands (the best) in the world since music and lyrics are music and lyrics. A Legend. Hello from Argentina.

amazing song! 7800 fahrenheit is my fav bj album!!!such a shame it's so underestimated because it has masterpieces like this and king of the mountain and hardest part, only lonely... simply amazing
Say what like but still one of the best bands you will ever see live don't shoot them down till you see them have seen them a few times from 80s onwards and never come away from a concert dissapointed always were and still are the best band ever
cool performance I love the intro and bang bang was really cool they should sing that again. I love listining to the lyrics and seeing how much Jon was into it and thinking that he wrote that because his girlfriend had left him who`s now his wife of 20 years
TheAgapika1993, awesome! I've been a Bon Jovi fan since before you were born, only goes to show that great music is timeless. I don't mind the current teen idols, every generation has them. For me, it just doesn't get better than these guys from Jersey :)
I'm going to keep this up on my phone for awhile to use it to pray for Bon Jovi. It's just really not that easy being out on tour right now. Torn between money or not play because of the pandemic. It's just really sad 😭. How many people grew up on music? We can give a dollar or 2 for the latest war or storms victims but we can't give live music venues the very same help? It's just really really sad 😭.
I rember Richie Sambora was the best guitarist throughout the 80's into the 90's he won guitarist of year but being a huge Bon Jovi fan he's still one of my favorite guitarist today this band was so huge back they didn't even know what hit them as we didn't know what hit us but we loved it and wanted more of it and today at 60 years old our favorite band of the 80's is still going that says it all they are as Jon says the heavyweight champion of the world and that's a fact
Did you listened to much 80s music? I'm not saying hes a bad player at all, but best/ one of the best of the 80's ??? I can think of a hundred more iconic guitarist of the 80's and 90's.

GREAT post, this is really awesome .. And to think this is like 16 months and 1 album away from when they became the biggest band in the world! This was when they had their 2nd album out, 7800° Farenheit. RATT was far bigger than Bon Jovi, at this point. But their talent shines through, here, and you just knew they were gonna be huge
Their most underrated song, more people need to hear this song
Yes love this one and without love two good songs from this band ..love these old jams.❤🎉
Real Bon Jovi fans know this is SHOT THROUGH THE HEART ! Off there first album. 1982-83. You give love a bad name came out several years later.
Run away😃

I love this song more than you gave love a bad name
True loved this song long time
The 80’s rule the world! They were awesome as well as the music
Actually the 70s ruled the world
the 80s are a product of the 70s

Phuck Zuck it’s the only song that they didn’t write. It was forced on them. They all hate that song and said they would never play it again.
Only lonely was really underrated as well.
I love the old Bon Jovi ,,, this one she don't have know me ,,silent night ,,, and many more blood on blood,,
Yes I saw that tour in Puerto Rico opening for RATT AND SLOW THE SHOW
I was born in 93. I literally study the 80s to try to recover some of the greatness I missed out on. May glam live on in a new generation! 🤟
That's why Steel Panther exists.
you can study all you want but you had to have lived it to understand how awesome the 1980s were 🤣
Love your comment.. James❤
This song is one of my all-time favorite BJ songs, love the lyrics and the rock sound, truly amazing and great, listen to it over and over 💜💜💜
amazing voice when he was young

His voice is still amazing.
