      Great breakdown as always. You could check out the new changes and bugs the new updates brought for netrunning. The ram refund perk doesn't use base cost anymore and apparently the ram recovery perk stacks infinitely till it breaks and you have to reload the game or something.

    I know from the start that the way I play stealth is so wrong because I never crouch, but your breakdown actually helped me realize that what I was doing wrong wasn't that bad 🤣. Thanks, man, great content!

    Awesome video as always, a couple of additional things to add on based on my personal experiences playing 2 full playthroughs using some form of crouch build.
    1) Vanishing Act does not seem to work with the Relic node Emergency Cloaking. At least it has never worked for me. The only way I have ever gotten emergency cloaking to work was by manually activating optical camo. Whether it's intended or a bug, I'm not sure.
    2) Serpentine does work, or at least I am 99% sure it does. How I tested it was to gain 5 stacks of Pyro with heat shield(50% mitigation chance), giving me a static total of 80% mitigation chance while crouched with 5 stacks of pyro. The premise is that crouch sprinting should then put me at 100% mitigation chance if serpentine worked. I have some 82% mitigation strength so I basically take negligible dmg whenever I successfully mitigate. I then proceeded to crouch sprint around enemies while getting shot at. I spent a stupendous amount of time doing this and didn't seem to take a single hit of full dmg. Thus I'm concluding it works.

    • @zKarma
      @zKarma  11 месяцев назад +2

      2) thats a good way to test. I mean i assume it works. So far mitigation chance perks have all worked. But I dont like saying they do without knowing for sure. Gonna give that a go and test it a lot. Good tip

      @charliegleason3782 11 месяцев назад

      Re: 1), I think it's intended. The description of Emergency Cloaking explicitly says it's triggered when you activate Optical Camo using the middle mouse button (or whatever your combat gadget slot is assigned to).

    go over the netrunning tree because it got MASSIVELY overhauled and people apparently complaining about it being bad when they dont realize how good it actually is and the synergies with smart weapons as well. I swear they made the whole intelligence line of perks pretty well.

    • @fable23
      @fable23 8 месяцев назад +1

      The problem with intelligence perks is that it has almost no applications outside of netrunners. Body has survival and health regen perks useful for everyone. Reflex has movement useful for everyone. Cool has stealth enhancing perks that are useful for everyone. Tech has Cyberware perks which are so useful it's practically a requirement to max it out. But intelligence has no universally useful perks at all. If you don't have a cyberdeck equipped, there is no reason to invest even _one single point_ into intelligence.

    • @thecornerho4472
      @thecornerho4472 8 месяцев назад

      @@fable23 each of the perklines specialize in netrunning with the right line specializing in smart weapons which synergize with reflexes, body, tech AND cool. Netrunning is its own hybrid with any number of other attributes. For example you could upload quickhack debuffs to exploit more melee damage with a melee centric build. you could spray and forget on targets with SMGs or ARs. Netrunning adds a whole new layer to building a character. I would argue that on its own yes it only is netrunning but when you combine it with other attributes you get some nice combos. Synergy as opposed to sticking to a "pure" netrunner the game doesnt design around that especially factoring in the bosses. I would say the inverse is true intellligence BUILDS onto what your making especially when netrunning can turn the tide in any situation. On its own its strong but with other attributes you can easily change the whole dynamic of stealth and combat by adding quickhacks to your arsenal.

    • @fable23
      @fable23 8 месяцев назад

      @@thecornerho4472None of that really addresses my central point. I didn't say netrunning wasn't cool or good (it is, I enjoy it immensely), I said intelligence is only useful if you are using netrunning in some capacity. Let me phrase it another way; intelligence is the only attribute that is _entirely_ tied to using specific equipment. Body's regen perks, Reflex's movement perks, Tech's Cyberware perks, and Cool's stealth perks; they can all help you no matter what you have equipped. They are universal. Whereas Intelligence without a cyberdeck (or, to a lesser extent, a smart weapon) equipped is a *_completely_* wasted stat. If you want to use a Sandy or Berserk, there is no reason to put even a single point into it, and that's really unfortunate.

    • @thecornerho4472
      @thecornerho4472 8 месяцев назад

      @@fable23 to be fair though netrunning dominates most of the game especially in the lore. as V you dont even start off with a sandevistan or berserk at basic levels. The game sort of hints that its part of V's arsenal much like everything else and to be fair most of it is absolutely helpful tbh, I could live without putting a single point into cool for bonuses to stealth tbh most of the stealth bonuses get overshadowed by other attribute abilities and intelligence itself to argue that every other attribute contributes to V universally is foolish because i have also run zero skills in body or lower reflex you dont precisely NEED dashes and air dashes to get around. The majority of skills and abilities are entirely dependant on your playstyle and not thinking your being "locked" out of X Y and Z ive personally found better ways to approach a situation that isnt tied into thinking i needed high reflexes to solve the issue. Although certain skills and abilities are highly useful universally you CAN live without them and go full on into other lines same with intelligence it would be foolish to believe all skills are mandatory. The arguement that intelligence isnt universally useful outside of just netrunning is entirely foolish IT AUGMENTS your already existing skills with it. On its own its very dangerous but again like any other attribute it pairs well universally with other attribute skills and abilities. To assume it doesnt is foolish after all if you look at cyberdecks each one has differing stats and values and specific roles to fill out to augment your current playstyle. If you wanna go for speed you could but honestly netrunning isn't about speed in the traditional sense of a sandevistan so instead you take SMGs or ARs and equip a kerenzikov and load up quickhacks on an enemy to decimate groups. There are so many options to move around with speed that doesnt actually require using a sandevistan as well as berserk. You also aren't factoring in the quickhacks themselves things like suicide quickhack after using melee finishers reduce its RAM cost significantly. OR how bout stealth uploading reboot optics/memory wipe and sonic shock; is the equivalent of taking an enemy down on TOP of leading enemies away from you or toward you OR grouping enemies up to exploit aoe effects or smart weapons. Again on its own netrunning is effective but it CAN be universally used to with other stats to change combat or stealth again though like body or reflex builds your using a cyberdeck in place of sandevistan or berserk. There is one more key difference between both setups while you lose out on speed or melee oriented setups you are more effective at debuffing or shutting enemies down more reliably TO USE melee or speedy takedowns. Different cyberdecks as well with more variety then 1 or 2 choices make netrunning hybrids more enjoyable then taking 1 or 2 different sandevistans OR berserks. I can name up to 4 different cyberdecks each with strengths and weaknesses designed to boost our playstyle dependant on other attributes again though you seem to think having no intelligence doesnt mean its universally helpful that argument falls flat when you aren't boosting any of the other skills in attributes either. Try playing the game without relying on reflexes or body oriented setups you might be shocked how much changes on that.

      Well that's the nature of RPGs for ya @@fable23. Some stats are class specific, some are universally useful. This is like complaining that intelligence and arcana are great for sorcerers, but do nothing to a barbarian class, while constitution is helpful for every class.

    You could, you know, name the numbers, like the max distance for Nerves of Thungsten-Steel....So place one was around 37/38m and place 2 was around 36m. So i put a first Guess 35m for max damage bonus?
    Same with the grenade damage increase, what is the number? 50% ? 100% ? As you said, they did not land exactly the same..but you said it was consistant so....how much of a damage increase is Pull?
    Sorry those things triggering me^^ I do appreciate the testing you do.
    I´m actually playing a Cool Build right now and also started with Cool...quite different in the beginning, without Dashes. I tried to use the SOR-22 much (still a little on the weakside...) and pistols, especially non revolvers. Wish SOR had more Headshot damage, which is what i aimed for on my cyberware, still the +25% Damage of Nerves o T.Steel is needed to oneshot still.
    I was suprised how much i liked Tech Pistols with the Cool Build, especially the Kenshins, be it charges, bolt, or even hip firing.
    Run n Gun Movement Speed increase, first it is on top of other and remember focus slow, slows you equal with the enemy, but with RnG you can move now 25% faster relative to the enemy.
    And nice finding out which mitigation chances stack!
    For Skill testing, have you checked the Categorized AIO CommandList ? It has many commands including skills, but haven´t come around testing to see if it needs the previous skills or not or how those would behave with mod which let you "unlock" the skill pathes. You find the list on nexus mod of course, i suggest dark theme, easier on the eyes.
    You ask us what next? Damage calculations! What goes where!
    Also Armor and Armor Penetration, fact or myth (seems only certain enemies and mechanics machines have them).

    • @zKarma
      @zKarma  11 месяцев назад +2

      1. You're correct about the distance.
      2. As you can tell by the damage difference. Its all over the place. My guess is 50-75% increase in damage.
      3. In regards to run n gun. I know focus slows time with that side perk. But to use focus, you need to aim down sights. I personally don't ads and walk at the same time, that's why I said that. Especially when you wont use up stamina by hip firing and get deadeye every shot.
      4. By damage calculations, you mean just like a general formula of what damage perks stack?

    • @paristeta5483

      Ass as well. If you have sights on your pistol it'll pop up some times but it can be deactivated by using Focus and shooting since that takes 50% stamina and you need 75% for DeadEye to work. That's why it's better used in hipfire since with Run N Gun you don't use stamina.
