BHP Nickel West’s underground mine and concentrator are located near the town of Leinster, approximately 1,000 km north-east of Perth, based in the Northern Goldfields of the Western Australia (WA), on the traditional lands of the Tijwarl and Wiluna people.
When it comes to underground mining, Leinster is where you want to be - our mine is spacious, well-ventilated and has great facilities, and you’ll truly be impressed by the mobile equipment workshop, designed to make maintenance tasks safer and more efficient! Whether working a fly-in fly-out roster or living residentially, our employees are within easy access to the town’s facilities which include an Olympic sized swimming pool and a golf course!
