This is the best game ever made, I've played it for so long that it's been drilled into my mind and it won't ever go away. This is what the real OG's grew up with...
I was too young to play this back in 2001 (I was around 3 years old), I got this game in 2011 (13 years old) and loved every minute of it! Now I'm almost 19 and I've just ordered the GTA Double Pack for the Xbox! Can't wait to play this again!
GTA 3 was the very first GTA game I’ve ever played. I use to have this game for my PS2, I use to pretend I was sick just so I can stay home from school to play this game. Good times.
This is and ALWAYS will be my most favourite game ever and nothing can change it. This is the one that changed the series forever. Without it, vice city and san andreas wouldn't even exist!
Although this my 4th Favourite GTA this is the one that changed the series a lot to a more, diversed, immersed , laughs, storyline, badass protagonist and awesome-bad antagonist. It all starts here. Too bad Rockstar caters to casuals now.
I feel like with newer graphics we lose artstyle. Look at the color palette and atmosphere in this game! So unique, you wouldn't mistake it for another game.
This is THE best gta game EVER! The graphics are cool and no other gta game has this cool of an opening cutscene. This should be everyone's favourite. It's better than gta vice city and San Andreas.
ugh.. the nostalgia overload.. I still remember all the feels as a child of first loading up this game.. sitting on the bridge and just looking around thinking it was the coolest damn thing ive ever seen.
After playing straight GTA and GTA 2 for months, when GTA III came out, and I first played it, I nearly crapped my pants on how AMAZING the graphics made the game look. I had never imagined a GTA game capable of putting you RIGHT there.
I remember back when playing GTA III, I had the actual paper map of Liberty City in front of me during the first weeks of playing, because besides the little minimap there was no big map in the menu! Those big ‘ol paper foldout maps were also very nice btw! It suited the atmosphere of PS2 games; a nice and crisp cd-box with an actual manual inside, including a map. Those things barely could close, lol!
I found a ps2 at my local flea market in great condition so of course I went for it and bought it I got gta 3, gta vice city, call of duty finest hour, madden 08, ncaa football 2005, fifa soccer 2004, nba 2k11, and backyard baseball and it’s so much fun being able to play the old games again:)
Remember my brother got it for Xmas and my mom wouldn’t let me play it so I sneaked and played it New Years night and this jawn had me hooked . Best GTA IMO. Felt like u were a actual criminal doing the crimes lol
1st time playing this game was 5th grade in 2001 with a bunch of friends at a birthday. We were all amazed. GTA 3 will forever be one of the greatest games ever made.
I remember when the ps2 came out and I still had the ps1 for awhile and then I visited my brothers apartment and he bought a ps2 form his first paycheck and I was amazed to see that and he had bought a copy of gta 3 when it had came out I had already finished gta 1 and 2 and 3 was amazing at that time I've only seen him play it and when Christmas started he had bought me a ps2 and the copy of gta 3 good times

This is the best game ever made, I've played it for so long that it's been drilled into my mind and it won't ever go away.
This is what the real OG's grew up with...
The theme song is giving me a full case of nostalgia!!!
2021 and this game still goes hard. Even today I still play this legend.
The amount of nostalgic from this video is priceless.
I was too young to play this back in 2001 (I was around 3 years old), I got this game in 2011 (13 years old) and loved every minute of it! Now I'm almost 19 and I've just ordered the GTA Double Pack for the Xbox! Can't wait to play this again!
I played it for the first time in late 2004/early 2005 i was just 6 yo
3:08 News Reporter: And The Bridge Itself Severely Damaged!
This intro is giving me chills every time i watch this
This game will always hold a special place in my heart.
the longest and hardest mission ever
Just completed the entire game 100% today. Feels good man
This is where the legend start its story...
GTA 3 was the very first GTA game I’ve ever played. I use to have this game for my PS2, I use to pretend I was sick just so I can stay home from school to play this game. Good times.
Ahhhhh man nostalgia ain’t the word
This is and ALWAYS will be my most favourite game ever and nothing can change it. This is the one that changed the series forever. Without it, vice city and san andreas wouldn't even exist!
This game was just perfect! Playing through all the GTAs on my PS2, can't wait to get onto this one!
4:39 this is where it all begun lol,
Although this my 4th Favourite GTA this is the one that changed the series a lot to a more, diversed, immersed , laughs, storyline, badass protagonist and awesome-bad antagonist. It all starts here. Too bad Rockstar caters to casuals now.
***** Yeah they have no driver. I guess they are Ghost Riders! LOL!
***** No! She is a crazy bitch but maybe I would like her for the treatment if you know what I mean...
+Thomas Cassidy U Mean.....dude u ruined my childhood 😭😭😭
Andre Kean Studios lol
Loved the female newscaster.
It was rumored that the newscaster is the one on manhunt
Wonder what she’s up to nowadays?
@@zpac17 mindblown, loved manhunt too!
Man this is so 2001 and love it!
This game had magical atmosphere. Even the later entries don't quite have it.
haven't played this game in a good 8 years and yet I still know how to navigate the whole city.
Nostalgia! Played it when i was younger I still play it today amazing game
My first gta game... brings back ALL the childhood memories...
2:20
If you hear very closely, you can actually hear Claude's voice after getting shot by Catalina.
The most forbidden game of your childhood, and possibly your first GTA ever.
I feel like with newer graphics we lose artstyle. Look at the color palette and atmosphere in this game! So unique, you wouldn't mistake it for another game.
2:10 Claude shoots against the wall.
Man I still play this and all the other older gta games
This is THE best gta game EVER! The graphics are cool and no other gta game has this cool of an opening cutscene. This should be everyone's favourite. It's better than gta vice city and San Andreas.
ugh.. the nostalgia overload.. I still remember all the feels as a child of first loading up this game.. sitting on the bridge and just looking around thinking it was the coolest damn thing ive ever seen.
So legendary :') First GTA I played, so much memories - I was actually 5 when this came out.
When stuff from the 2000s becomes nostalgia you're getting old.
2:45 don't know why but the news reporter's serious voice kinda scared me out
I found a ps2 at my local flea market in great condition so of course I went for it and bought it I got gta 3, gta vice city, call of duty finest hour, madden 08, ncaa football 2005, fifa soccer 2004, nba 2k11, and backyard baseball and it’s so much fun being able to play the old games again:)
I have so much amazing memories with GTA III and GTA San Andreas
First gta game I ever played, fell in love ever since
Wow, 20th anniversary this year. I can still remember when I got it.
Less than a week until I revisit this again, see you soon friend.
"My hands are all messed up, so you better drive, brother".
*Opens car door with supposedly 'messed up hand' *
...fuck logic.
And the part where he punched the cop without hesitation at 4:02

Catalina's gyatt
Remember my brother got it for Xmas and my mom wouldn’t let me play it so I sneaked and played it New Years night and this jawn had me hooked . Best GTA IMO. Felt like u were a actual criminal doing the crimes lol
1st time playing this game was 5th grade in 2001 with a bunch of friends at a birthday. We were all amazed. GTA 3 will forever be one of the greatest games ever made.
that memory is just simply awesome
I remember when the ps2 came out and I still had the ps1 for awhile and then I visited my brothers apartment and he bought a ps2 form his first paycheck and I was amazed to see that and he had bought a copy of gta 3 when it had came out I had already finished gta 1 and 2 and 3 was amazing at that time I've only seen him play it and when Christmas started he had bought me a ps2 and the copy of gta 3 good times
Had to do the first mission every time. No memory card problems :/
Haazo Me too

Ikr, I didn't know what a memory card was when I was little, so I kept on doing the first mission
