Very cool! It sounds like a proper remake of the most classic Godzilla concept. The dubbed movies in the 90s were the sole reason why my dad took me to Blockbuster. It made my day when I saw a movie on the shelf that I hadn’t seen before.
@@Nerdporeal For me, the Godzilla movies can be divided into two categories: Godzilla vs. Japan/the world, and Godzilla vs. other monsters. The movies where he would take on other monsters (and even team up with some!) were the best.
@@Nerdporeal I’m not sure if I’d go that far, especially since this film came out very recently and so the hype for it is greater. What I will say is that it’s definitely on a similar level to the original film, and the action sequences are definitely superior in Minus One when compared to 1954.
i have no shame, i'm willing to spoil the ENTIRE film! its really close to the 1954 and 1985 plots, but its performed by really competent people. amazing music, good acting and writing, character arcs that make sense and wrap up the film well. i will admit, if you are some of the bird brains who like the legendary pictures American made garbage, you will be let down. there is an actual plot and its good
I will never forget the scene in Ginza when he fires his atomic breath. Easily one of the best cinematic experiences ever.

Thanks for sharing sir. For me loving tokusatsu, Gojira just didn't interest me as a kid and it still baffles me haha.
