I can answer you, no. I married to a Singapore PR. We applied for PR separately before getting married, and now I applied for citizenship on my own as a PR.
Not sure on inheritance law. But definitely will have a new identity (no longer having Malaysia IC), so best check out with the will writer/trust service provider.

If convert to singaporean, can we still inherit property and wealth from our malaysian parents? Means need re-write "will" to new SG IC ?
