I think a round glass dining table with nice timber legs would look great in your dining space with some wishbone chairs or something! I would also move the bar cart and replace it with a big plant (I love the bar cart but I think you could place those things styled nicely on the white shelves in your dining space) this will make the living and dining space look less cluttered. This is coming from a architect and interior designer 🤍🤍🤍 I love these vlogs the apartment is coming along!

On thé note of a table, i do agree a table next to the shelves might look a tad small.. BUT what if you swapped the mirror around with the shelves and then put a round glass table in the corner against the big windows in the kitchen and have the mirror against the wall in the kitchen. I think that would look good with a table, however I also vibe with no table! (For when you have friends over, maybe invest in a foldable table you can store outside or in a cupboard and a nice table cloth to set up when you host! That what I did I’m my small apartment when I hosted friends) I love the way it’s coming along tho!
I just still can not get over how many people are out and about during lockdown! It's insane! I know you cant stop people from going outside and getting fresh air/exercising but jeezz the beach and footpaths are packed. No wonder there are so many cases every day damn. Feel for you sydney people, its a really tough one :(
Instead of a dining table, you could get a breakfast bench/bar table and put it outside against the balcony with some nice stools, so you can eat and enjoy the view :)
Just a thought you could obtain a high thin bar bench table for outside your kitchen doors place it near outside balcony wall, they have stools and you could watch the beautiful view whilst eating outside

Just on the back of the glass table comment, i have glass table, coffee table & TV unit because our place is a little small. It's cute but I regret it. So much work to maintain. I don't think the space needs a table

You should look into a moveable kitchen island. They make some that are small enough to go in that space! Some also have a place to eat at.
