Once u have experience in enduro and single track riding, you have no problem riding dual sports in the same trails. Plus it opens the door to go anywhere u want that day, thats priceless. Power, Price, Suspenion, Reliabilty and Plate nothing beats a DRZ.
This is what I sound like all the time Carl! LMFAO! You are a champ getting back out there so soon after that bonk ya took! Had a chance to by a DRZ recently and passed on it due to re-fi on house interfering with timing to buy! Dang it!
My drz 400s is just over 300 lbs with a full tank of gas. I'm faster on tight single track on the drz than my ktm 250 exc. I think it has to do with the taller gearing, clutching out of turrns with more speed. The drz is heavy but very balanced or steady, i havent quite figured out why i like it so much, so i haven't been able to sell it yet.

This is why I bought a DRZ. Great riding
I pick my brand new 2024 DRZ400s tomorrow , I gonna be a stable mate to my 2009 KTM 200 xcw . I'm so hyped !
I just bought a new Drz. I love it. Coming from a Klr, it feels like a mountain bike to me, lol.
yeah, compared to a KLR im sure it does feel light! I never understood why people would choose the KLR over a DRZ.
Visions of riding to Alaska, which for a working man will probably have to wait awhile…
Look at that ol’ tractor go right up the hills! Not bad for an antique street bike! 😁
This bike is an absolute beast. I love riding it!

Dude, this DRZ is such a beast. Goes to show that you can have fun without being on the highest performance bike.
Love the DRZ videos!!
I am familiar with everyone of those trails--the first few are super steep! I'm very impressed. (Especially without your red boots!)
Yes they are! Thanks man, i appreciate that. It was a really good time trying to get around on the DRZ
