Every summer gets thunderstorms in the afternoons in Alice Springs in the Australia’s Northern Territory and lightning is fun to watch in the summer sky when it rains in the outback. The Giles Meteorological Service issues flash floods in the Stuart Highway and be careful driving in the rain during the summer months. The severe thunderstorms had been issued for the Tanami Desert and into Alice Springs and the storms can produce serious weather conditions of driving.
If people took fair and sensible comment to improve there videos then we may have more decent videos. I did not say the content was bad, comments are there to help you get it better.
Dear Jonathan, were you our hosts at Stay and Play? I meant to send you are Christmas video 2023. Sadly, all the footage from our Alaska trip (recorded onto a 512 GB SD card) died while I was filming the aurora borealis in Tok. The SD card is toast 😞, and I had such good intentions to make a video like this one of that beautiful and amazing trip. Thank you for watching! All my best, Linda
Ive never even gone to australia but wolf creek has convinced me that I never want to step foot onto the continent and especially not the outback🤣. It seems everything there will do anything to kill you
That does look scary and I'm a seasoned traveller to the untrained I eye it looks harmless I don't like the lonliness on a straight road especially that rain
I must love being bored while driving long distances too then lol Cool video. They don't have to be Hollywood quality to be enjoyable. Hope i get to do this trip at some point. Thanks for sharing!!
I've been to Australia twice and didn't like the terrain there. It's so dry, brown, flat and ugly. Sorry but, it's just my opinion. The cities and the people in Australia are wonderful but, the terrain there is so UGLY.
Then you are downright lying that you have been to Australia. The Australian outback, sure thats flat dry and brown, but Sydney is not brown, Melbourne is literally known for its parks (and its rain), Queensland has tropical rainforests, and you literally fly over mountains from Sydney to Melbourne. And it's literally orange in the video. How can you not see that it's orange.
I love the way you showcased the changing vegetation and the birdlife to show those who may not know that the outback is truly spectacular!
Incredible.Thanks for recording the drive.

Hey, such a shame to hear this. No, I was also a guest and briefly met you during breakfast.@@aSwisshousewife
Australia and North America might have been connected at one time.
Use a mice muff, to reduce the wind noise 😂😮
Very nice
Australia's outback looks a bit and very similar to the American Southwest
How about some audio & tell us what we're looking at , 9,oo 😊
You're looking at the middle of Australia it doesn't change it's just red dust or Salt lakes because all the trees have been removed
Ive never even gone to australia but wolf creek has convinced me that I never want to step foot onto the continent and especially not the outback🤣. It seems everything there will do anything to kill you

Port Agutter
I heard a story of an entertainer that went there and said it like that and they sacked him on the spot
The Stuartt hwy? Never heard of it.
2nd longest highway in australia .roughly 2.100+ km
That does look scary and I'm a seasoned traveller to the untrained I eye it looks harmless I don't like the lonliness on a straight road especially that rain
Audio to low and camera all over the place hope you do better next time
If only people would worry more about the content and less about all the technology we may actually have more decent videos
I've driven it 7 times. Big deal. It's still as boring as batshit.
lol... I guess I love to be bored Antony ;-)
Miserable flog!

I have never understood how anyone becomes "bored".

You can't even spell the highway correctly?
