Hi from France, how ironic, i drive à petrol tanker here in France for X.P.O. and it's under contract for B.P. You're doing it all wrong, when you fuel up you're suposed to put more on the ground, all over the petrol tank (s),leave the pistol absolutly filthy dirty and if you're a real proffessionelle forget to put the cap back on the tank, that way you get put put even more shit every-where (the road, footpaths etc)....not forgetting that huge puddle of diesel that every-one has to walk over/ through.... Love you brother, great chanel.
I drove trucks for 10 years, but changed careers since. The last time I drove a truck on the road was in 1998. I did not know this thing about magnet on the ad blue filling spout. Just shows no matter how long you have been a driver in the past, always something new to learn.
Not sure pal. I would guess you could fill them both at the same time, but not only the passenger side, as the fuel gets sucked from just one tank, and the connection pipe wouldn't keep up? just guessing
In your vids I haven't seen you in a mirrorless truck yet, we have a handful of mirrorless Merc trucks one of which I drive, I hate the screens with a passion, no depth perception so reversing makes me nervous, if the sun gets on the camera you cannot see, a single raindrop blobs the whole picture, and fun times reversing from outside into a darker warehouse or overhang, you can see someone at the back guiding you but no clue which way his hand is facing. Forwards the Merc isn't bad though it's a bit over eager at slow speeds, and the built in tomtom is great and mine has a lot of places i've been saving to it though need to work out how to send over places from my 6000 trucker tomtom as that has most of the UK covered. Downside to the Merc other than the screen/mirror is the height to get in, has an extra step compared to the Scania and Volvos, which gets you a bit messed up the top if you forget and start up on the wrong foot lol, although I managed to fall off mine the other day, nice bruise down the thigh, climbed down and forgot my coffee cup stepped up a couple to reach it then stepped off forgetting I was 3 steps up, fun times lol.
You say, must fill the drivers side tank first. Not sure why. Back in my driving days it didn't matter, the balance pipe under the tanks is to small to make any difference.
I think he's safe in the Scania normally it's BMW cars that run out so fast and they always forget to carry extra. I drive a Merc truck and I think they accidently fitted fluid free ones as mine has been working for the last two months 😊
With my van, I get a warning on the dashboard telling me how many more miles I have left before it completely runs out but I always fill it when the light comes on. I think the same would apply to a lorry.
On the truck i drive, scania 2021 model when you are under 10% adblue it reduces the engine power, when you run out completly the top speed is locked to 20 km/h
@@thetompiman hi there anos, yeah all european trucks work that way, but if i remember correctly the guy wanted to know what happens when he runs out of Adblue out on the road, bit like when you run out of fuel. Where i work they have had drivers run the trucks without Adblue and unfortunatly fifteen thousand euros for each truck in repairs.....just because the're to lazy to fuel-up. But,hey, you can't put brains in a statue. Have a great day.
Hi there Skylarius, red fuel and diesel are the same thing (diesel) the colour red is trichloro some fucking thing. The colouring just helps customs see what you have in the tank.

I appreciate that!
Great info' Raul! Stay safe mate.

We had a driver fill the screenwash with adblue 🤣
I didn't know that about fridges, last I done it was red diesel.

thanks pal no worries. belive it or not so many people asked me to film the procedure
Great video Raul. I honestly did not know about this magnet thing. Is there a reason why you can’t fill left and right tank at the same time ?

Can you do a video mate on digi tacho and what you do on a normal day as in your logs from start to finish end of day shift.how keep records
I think you missed the step where you sold a kidney and remortgaged your house?
Thanks for the video I have learned something, but now what's the purpose of the Ad Blue ?
Adblue reduces emissions
I noticed a bit of a smirk on your face every time you mentioned the word magnet
Hi Raul , which agencies do you Generally use for driving jobs , really great videos and great content , keep them coming 👍👍
There is Search, Proactive, Challange... a lot of them, they are all ok
Thanks Raul 👍
Hi , what can i use instead of that magnet, because i don't have?
Your channel is beautiful and wonderful, Thanks.
Thank you very much!
Is perfect more movies to learn.
See you brother

i would only guess that if you fill the passenger side only the balance pipe wouldn't keep up? dunno
Nice one Raul, I learnt something new today. How many miles between ADBlue refills?
over 1000km depends on the truck
can you do a video on how to change the blinker fluid next
I think he's safe in the Scania normally it's BMW cars that run out so fast and they always forget to carry extra.

@@will4may175 I thought BMW drivers never refill their blinker fluid as they never use them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Can you do a video on the best way to siphen one too please
Coming up 😄
I'm in Africa. I recently got my truck driving licence but wish to work as a truck driver in the UK. Any possibilities?
Bet that cost a lot mate. Ouch.
Great explanation. Maybe you should of highlighted how company cards work with drivers. (pin a comment?)
Nice video was thinking about this what if adblue needs filling while out on the road ? regards Tony

If it's a Euro 6,the truck just stops, tow truck and a big "please explain from your boss".
To be avoided.
you just top it up. range is about 1500km

Do you have other socialmidea account where some one can get in touch with you
You forgot to fuel up an empty 10 litres can for "harder times". 😅
What happens if you fill one diesel tank with ad blue?
You will fk the engine
First one 🙂. Go on Lad.
🚛👍
Even though the law has changed, you'll still have red diesel residue in the tank.
Hi there Skylarius, red fuel and diesel are the same thing (diesel) the colour red is trichloro some fucking thing. The colouring just helps customs see what you have in the tank.
it will be gone eventually
Drive, You need to join the space age and refuel a methane truck.
How to fuel a truck tutorial I’ve seen it all now 😴
I had the exact same thought 🤦
That's because there's plenty of new lorry drivers who would put petrol instead of diesel or adblue instead of screenwash
@@iLoveAppl3947 if you can’t work it out you shouldn’t be driving a lorry
No one forces you to watch it pal :)
@@Raul689 dont worry mate. These blokes think they have nowt to learn. First sign of a poor driver us one that thinks he knows it all...
