  • In June 2012 I did a one man recon for a couple of days~you know a quick 500 miler. ;) It's what I do.
Summer time I usually give the rig a break and start the trips at night; this was the first morning just as I'm waking up literally "On The EDGE" of the Mogollon Rim~it's about 1500'-1800' down to the ground, just a few feet from my recording site. It's even 500' or so down to the top of the clouds~~~It's what I do, and I do allot of it!
Do you wanna go for a ride?
Actually you can join us/me. The AZCRO is always looking for new members and/or support in other ways if you can't attend. Donate your time or money and you will be part of the team. All team members have a say in what we do~Join the group in your own way! I'll put links at the bottom of this description.
After I left this location here I drove deep into Chevelon Canyon from Heber, and then back around to the Rim Road via Chevelon Canyon Creek and Lake. I visited Broken Mirror, Bear Canyon lake (where I ate Breakfast). After exploring some more sites in this area, Including Knoll Lake, I backtracked down the Rim road all the way to the Travis Walton UFO site. While heading to Travis's most hated spot, I visited another known hot spot, Black Canyon Lake. Traveling the Hashknife Stagecoach route for some of the way I stopped at both the Baca Home, Stagecoach site, and grave site for the family. not only is this Cryptid Country, and home to some of the worlds greatest mysteries, but this is Zane Grey country and home to some of the greatest wild west locations too. So Cowboy up and join the AZCRO for some RECON! On this trip, I was really hoping to see some BEAR activity, as there had be 3 recent attacks in this area. I didn't see any bears, or signs of them, but I did get into allot of other stuff~this is what happens in Arizona~Bear viewing turns into a Bigfoot, UFO expedition or a fact and fun filled tour ride and history lesson.

Wild Cat Canyon, on the way to Chevelon Canyon Raw Off the Cuff Desription by Alex Hearn
This is what I do! A couple of different people made comment that they do more of this than I, first off, they are just plane full of shit, but second I usually don't even Ul photos and Video. But I have a Terabit full or more. Also all description, and off the cuff speech are my own~No one does what I do! But anyone who thinks they come close, or doesn't do anywhere near to the Miles and work that I do while out there.
This is just a piece of my world! Cowboy Up Pardner!

BTW: Next trip out I was stranded deep of of RT66 12miles from Cell Service after leaving Larry's Cabin, when my tires gave out. After getting myself the 12miles to cell reception, a 85mile tow, a new set Of Tires ($750+, for 3, one was newly replaced already, this is AZCRO1's 3rd set for highly rated tires) and a little lunch I visited a few more lakes and came back to Phoenix via Flaggstaff and Payson~a quick 250miles on the new tires... There's more video coming from the following trips too. ;)
