Appreciate the effort in doing the video but a point for the future. We are not a franchise, we are a club. American franchises change cities for more money, football clubs and specifically in this case Leeds is part of the fabric of Leeds and its surrounding area. Other than that well done 👍
This is a great point that American's won't see right away. Franchises are owned by individuals, but are still controlled by the league. They have to have league approval for so many things. Clubs are a much more independent entity. Their leagues are determined by performance. Of course they still have league restrictions/guidelines they have to follow, but it's not controlled to the same level like a franchise teams in American sports.
I want to apologize to all the Leed U fans out there who have to deal with the Red Bull red. It's a nice sponser but our ownership should have used the blue they use in F1. I understand this breaks tradition and us Americans don't really condone that.
Leeds did not play in all white until 1961 before that we played in blue and gold so which tradition are you referring to? Also as others have pointed out we have played in red before.
