Hi Keith great video what a great place almost spoilt for choice, you got some really good images I wouldn't mind betting you was like a kid in a sweet shop. Until next time take care and stay safe my friend.
You have just inspired me to go there next month now after the school holidays, it looks like a great place for bird photography and there is so much more to see and do in that area. Thank you great video.
Thanks Paul. Definitely worth the visit and with the reserve extending to the beach it just gives so many environments. Like you say so much more in the area including Snettisham RSPB which I have never been to yet but is supposed to be great on the high tides. Cheers Keith
Sorry for late reply was called away. i a'm in East Hertz. Just been exploring a new wild life location today called Amwell Nature Reserve. very large area to cover a little like this Video new location seeing what's around. @@KGsPhotography
No problem Paul I struggle to keep up with things sometimes 😂 I have heard of Amwell but never been. Always enjoy exploring somewhere new. Hope you find interesting stuff there. Cheers Keith
Looks like you had a heck of a day out shooting, ridiculous amount of great locations and birds! The sanderling are just amazing, would love to be there! Great stuff Keith! =)
Lovely Nature reserve Titchwell Marsh one of the best in the country I would say , going from Woodland, Marsh and then Sea. Particularly the best spot for the Raptors ! Back there this January fingers crossed ! Enjoyed the vlog 👍😍
Hi Keith, Great video, Looks like a bit of everything at the reserve. It looks great down there. You managed to get some nice photographs on this trip...😃👍
Titchwell is a wonderful place-the thing I remember most is a friend and I popping in to the Fen hide on a visit in December, as the last thing we did on that day not expecting to see anything much. A Barn Owl appeared and entertained us by flying around in front of the hide for a while. It was a real treat.
Been a long time since I visited here Keith, always find it such a pain to get to😂 Think I may have to pay another visit some great shots and footage mate👍
Morning Keith, I've never been to Titchwell it is on my list to do. I went to Minsmere a long time ago it was a coach trip from Watford run by the RSPB club Watford, it cost £20. It was when they put in the bager fenceing. Great set of photos and video thanks for shareing.
Hi Keith it's been a while. I enjoyed the video. The dragonflies were shot at 360 rather your 400mm do you notice better quality ? I went Titchwell to rspb event brilliant day in Feb 2019. I remember seeing about 40 marsh harriers coming home to roost 4pm ISH and 2 barn owls. It was looking towards the golf clubhouse. Then the King's Lynn astronomy club provided telescopes to look at the moon and stars. Great day for £6.00. I hoping to go in Jan 22 and do my own thing.
Thanks David. I didn't notice any quality difference but I had to shoot at 360 to get it in the frame. Sounds like you had an amazing day there and good luck with your visit in January. Cheers Keith
Titchwell is really beautiful. Listen out for the Bitterns booming. Why don't you pop the name of the birds on the photos to help newbies? You do need to watch your camera in the sand though. I got the AE-L/AE-F button jammed up with sand @ Titchwell, so I had to send it in for repair. Thankfully I have a spare.
Yes fantastic place. Did listen out for the Bittern but no luck this time.. I do put the names of the birds top right normally for the first image of each bird. Not sure if maybe they don't appear depending on your picture format. Definitely need to respect the sand with your gear, hopefully yours is back working now. Cheers Keith
@@KGsPhotography Nope not at all. Nikon currently have delays of up to two months so I'm now making do with my D3500 while I wait...very frustrating. What makes it worse is that I heard a bittern & later on (AFTER) breaking the camera a group of birders were huddled around taking photos of a bittern in the reeds, just off the footpath. If only I'd got some pics before it broke. Kicking myself now. Keep going back & you will at least hear them but if you want my advice avoid Frampton until the water levels are a bit higher: the birds are too far away for good shots now. Titchwell is a much better bet at the moment.
I will follow you wherever you go and in whatever you do. My prayers are always with you
Thanks you
Hi Dear Friend! Thank you and have a beautiful day!🙏😊👍100

Hope you get it back soon and thanks for the advice re Frampton although if I do go it would be more to visit the marshes.
