Auto shut off. I was in a pickle needed a wand asap...best one I have ever bought.
Although I think the price tag on this is huge I think it's the best cordless iron that you have shown on your channel. I think the temp adjustment is a negative but not a deal breaker. Great video!

I have fine hair and a very tiny amount. I haven't found a curling iron that actually holds my hair, it falls out every single time, i can only curl it with a flat iron. Oh and i get the clip bend on my hair for the 2secs it holds it before i move it and it falls out.

Emily Pineda I’ve not researched wireless hot tools. But with any rechargeable battery, research battery life & product carefully as they can tend to not hold a charge as long over time. For instance, the battery life could be fine now, but could take a change in 6 months or a year. That said, my T3 has a warranty, as do many other pricey items, so I would look into that as well
So serious question....because it’s cordless is it possible for this product to turn on by itself like in your bag or something if your taking it on a trip and something bumps into or presses against the power button? If such a thing is a possibility (not sure if there is like a safety mechanism to prevent that from happening) would you recommend just popping out the battery while you travel or do you feel that it’s safe to leave fully intact in your bag?
It has a safety on switch - you need to short press three times, then long press, then set the temp. This is done to ensure it doesn't turn on accidentally in transit!

If you're going to compare a clip curling iron and you don't want any other attachments from T3, I would go for Bio Ionic. I think the quality is a little bit better. But, if you want other attachments, the interchangeable T3 wand is great.

Cobbiant Miguel came here to say the same thing! 100% agree. Some people even put dry shampoo in on clean hair to help stay ahead of it. Also, u can wash bangs w/o washing the whole head. And use very little product in bangs (too much will make it look oily quickly). Same with conditioner (I have fine hair, so these are all tricks I use for hair close to my face). Also-use a MATTE or oil-absorbing primer to soak up oil & minimize the amount transferred from your face. Cover Fx is supposed to have a good one, and I like NYX primers, if u want a cheaper option (but haven’t tried the matte one). Also, u can use blotting papers for your forehead too, whenever you have break through oil. Other little tips: wash your brush & combs-oil & product build up. I soak mine first then scrub them. Just so you have clean tools. And make sure you don’t overload product, if you use dry shampo a lot, you will need a good clarifying shampoo every week or 2 to get rid of build-up. And don’t touch them with your hands-you have oils there.
I have oily roots and a shampoo that has really worked for me is the Paul Mitchell Special Tea Tree Shampoo. I can go longer in between washes with this shampoo. I also only use it once every two weeks, substituting another shampoo in-between.
Kristy Hefner oh that sounds fabulous. I love tea tree products-it’s supposed to be good for your scalp too. Do u happen to know if it’s color safe for highlights? Edit: also, I was able to wean my hair washing from daily to 2x a week, gradually cutting back to every other day & then an extra day. Plus I was using conditioner too close to my scalp & have really fine hair. Once I started applying conditioner mostly ear level & below, & cut back on oil/product on the scalp, it really helped my roots last longer.
Hatch Man Do there could be a variety of factors. If u have super long hair, you may need to do 1/2 of your hair at a time. Or if it’s super short, the barrel may be a bit large. A 1” barrel may work better for you. I still need styling product, regardless of barrel size...
Hearts Love it’s the size of the barrel. I already do very small sections and i have great success with a thinner barrel. Yes curls may be too tight day one- but day 2-5 are awesome and still wavy compared to nothing on day 1 with a thick barrel. Now I just got the dyson airwrap and the thinner drying rod gives me body for days!! Love it. My hair is so thick with it. I do wish they made an even thinner barrel for it
