Glad you like the format. I spent an entire day cutting down the "Goblin Lair" episode from 20 to 14 minutes. I want videos to be long enough, but not too long.
Totally agree, these vids are right to the point without the filler bologna you get from a lot of channels. "Just get to the damn point" I yeah at vids that drone on and on. I like how PDM gets right to the good stuff. And keeps em relatively short and sweet.
man i just never get tired of watching craft videos. it always kept my recycle bin very empty i ended up retiring the hobby when i built my dnd table with a screen and speakers in it. so many ways to play the same game XD
I quite like the look of these doors with one pedantic exception: Bolts or rivets showing on one side of a door are holding something on the other side of the door. Most commonly, this will be a strap or crossbar holding the planks together. As a result, they should be in at least roughly horizontal lines. "What's the _motivation_ for the bolts? Hmmm?!" 8-) That said, I particularly like the use of tiny rhinestones as bolt/rivet heads and watch hands as hinge straps. Nice effects.
I just found your channel and I'm really enjoying it. Just went they episodes 1-10. Subscribed and liking. Keep it up, this is the kind of stuff I like to see!
Another quick and easy item to make. I really need to write down a list of all the items you have in your stock to get since I'm starting fresh. Thanks for another video.
Very nice doors the handles made me think of Young Frankenstein and the nice knockers Teri Garr scene. One thing I would change about your videos is that music at the end it's very loud when you've turned up the volume to hear you plainly.
Yeah. I've lowered the closing credit volume in the newer videos. I can't adjust it without taking the whole video down. Sorry. Youtubing has a learning curve.
Love the doors. I've used those bits before but my doors didn't look near as nice. I believe I just painted lines. If you didn't have a soldering iron, what would you recommend for getting a good grove between the planks?
I know this comment is a bit late, but I hope it still helps... Those look like watch hands to me. You'll probably find them in either the jewelry/metalwork section or next to the diy watch making kits (usually in the same area with all the wood crafts)
Great Door! I was wondering what "These Things" found in the Jewelry aisle are? Do you have a title or manufacturer number? I have searched my local hobby stores with no success.
I found them at Michael's but removed the packaging. Next time I'm there I'll try to remember to look for them. In the meantime, take a snap with your phone and bring it to Michael's, or Hobby Lobby and show it to a worker. They'll know what it is.
Was in Michael's today and found them. The brand "Found Objects: Clock Hands". 100 piece count. So they're clock hands. Who knew? Next I guess I need to make a clock tower!
@@DUNGEONCRAFT1 Gotcha. Thanks for the response! I appreciate your videos, Professor Dungeonmaster-- you've got some excellent ideas. I'm crafting some terrain in the upcoming week to show Dragon's Keep gaming in Portland, Oregon so I've been rewatching your videos to refresh my memory and see what I can incorporate into my existing work.
I like your video format a lot. You are comprehensive and concise.

Cool! I actually have a double door video in the vault. It will appear before the end of the year, I think.
@@DUNGEONCRAFT1 super neat, ill keep watching in anticipation :)
Not much of a crafts guy but I'm finding myself wanting to take a trip to the craft store, thanks for sharing, them doors are killer.
that door looks so professional you could probably sell them
Using the clock hands as hinges was brilliant.
Love me some crafting. On to the next lesson!

Bloody brilliant, great stuff! They look great and saves you big bucks. Enjoying your crafting series, great quality at a budget cost.
This is some excellent advice, cheap fast and sooooo easy. Thanks A Bunch. Now I'm going Door to Door.😉

Cheers Boss! You are truly a master
I love the brevity in your videos. Can't wait to see more!
Thanks! I love brevity too--because it takes less time to make them!

Really like the decorative devices(banding)... What are they called and where can you buy them?
Nicely done mate.
Simple yet oh so useful at a gaming table!
I helped my boyfriend make 10 of these last night lol
Awesome!
god bless you lady
he better put a ring on it
If only I had time for this.
Try ultimate Dungeon Terrain. Less time. 1 day at most.
Oops. Wrong video. Buy Whizkids doors. 2 for $5. Thats a good deal.
Great stuff!
Alright doors now i can use the stairs module video and start me a dungeon!
Cool. Thanks for watching!

I'd just paint the groove. But today I don't know if I'd use wood. I might just use XPS foam.
About the metal banding on the doors, do you have any idea what they are? I’ve been scouring local craft stores but can’t find anything similar!

thank you this is just what i was looking for !
What are the clock hands called at your hobby store? I can't seem to find anything like them.
What... was the material the door was made of? And where can I get it in those circle and rectangle shapes?
Amazing.
Awesome!
can you send the link to buy this craftwood and jewelry pieces ?

DUNGEON CRAFT I thought those looked like clockworks. I never knew that you could get clockwork pieces like that. They look really good.
"These Things" are clock arms
Nice
Why the line in the middle of the ground in front of the door?
I dunno. that's just were I put it. If I could do it again, I wouldn't.
