I am a 55 yr old woman. This is my pool. I erected it myself, ground prep and ground leveling all by myself. I want to thank you for this video. The advice of putting in poles every other one was a huge help to me. Thanks a million for your time and effort. It really made my experience much easier. ✌🏻. I subscribed and enjoy your videos
For anyone watching this recently I just wanted to add an idea for under the pool. We bought 1/2 inch foam board insulation from lowes and cut and taped together a circle slightly bigger than our pool circumference then covered it with a felt liner. It is amazing. Makes your pool feel so much more comfortable to walk around on instead of hard dirt.
@@barbarae9002 I think it just acts a cover that can be placed on the inside of the pool wal to keep backfeed into filter if ever neccessary..i.e. maintenance, disassembly.
@@lisale7032 no, no answer. But I just measured mine. It's 37.5" from T to T on the top and the bottom part opened up to about 39" from middle of the leg to the other. They also open up to the outside a couple inches so dont put them straight down. I had put pavers so the legs can rest on them but I put them to close to the pool liner so give them some space away from pool liner.
So true the last part of the frame to put together is hard. 4 ppl put ours together. We took it down though and boy are those pins a pain after they have sat a while. I didnt let my liner sit out either it goes against everything they say about liners lol. Also our pump leaked bc of it being stripped on arrival. Kept the pump...
Always good to let it set out for awhile in the sun. Makes it so much easier. Also, your pump was leaking because you didn't have the rubber gaskets lined up right.
Okay but you got on here talking about your filter was leaking if you knew what was wrong why would you throw in the pool away? This man was trying to give you some helpful advice just something you obviously did not know mr.know-it-all

Make sure to balance your ph and alkalinity 1st...then you can do chlorine then add stabilizer. And calcium. Buy test strips. Also dont go over bored and add chemicals. Do it slowly :) and i always add less than what is reccomended
Matt Barker I understand that the pump only works if it’s running. I’ve read that the pump doesn’t have to run 24 hours a day though. In other words, the water doesn’t have to be cleaned constantly. Is that not correct?
@@luptonpittman6520 If you look in the instruction manual, there's a link to the Polygroup website that lists different pool sizes and the minimum amount of hours the pump needs to run. For this pool, I believe, it's like 5-6 hours. But I will say this, in my experience I don't see how you can have a clear pool using the pump in that short amount of time. I had this pool up for 3 weeks now and my water has been crystal clear since. Now, while I do have the filter pump connected to electricity 24/7, it doesn't mean I run it 24/7, but pretty close. I do shut it off when I clean the pool and change the filter, and I change it out daily. The filter gets pretty dirty in that time for running nearly 24 hours. I can't imagine what the water would look like having the pump run just 5-6 hours.

Just installed mine. Couldn't of did it without your video. Thank you.
Direction explain better than the other videos. Thanks for your help and time.
The only video that explains the very last connection
It was so helpful like I did not know what to do like 😷
Thank u so much. The instructions are kinda confusing an you made this so easy for me. Thank you for making this video. I appreciate it greatly
thanks it was helpfule. is it okay stay outside in the winter or not?
I think so but you need to put a cover on it
For winter purchase a “closing kit” drop water to halfway and will withstand an upstate New York winter so wherever you are should be good to go
I wouldn’t if you get freezing temperatures
Is it safe to have the filter plugged in when it rains?
this was awesome! so im from oklahoma do you think trap and sand base? its going over bermunda grass
What about leakage around pump and pool seal. Mine is dripping around both seals?
Can you help with what chemicals I should put in initially and then how often do you add them throughout the summer. Thank you!
Your the greatest!... Aight😂
we put up the same pool and mine is about 1inch out of level. When your kids are playing around does the poles move around?
I just finished installing mine hopefully I did it correctly.😳🙏🏾
Can you plug it into an extension cord or does it HAVE to go into an outlet? Our outlet cover is preventing the GFCI plug from fitting.
I have ours on an extension cord.
you can get an extension cord with a GFCI built into it....fyi.
You helped me a lot. Thank u
I installed a pool in florida without clearing the grass and it actually grew through the pool bottom.
So what did you do? Definitely going to have to clear the grass before install.
Also, my ladder has a lot of fiberglass.. do you know how I could fix it?
Where did you put your chlorine tablets
Did you put sand or anything under pool?
My family is putting it up while im chilling lol
What around black piece for pump
Will you have grass that will grow thru liner or not?
Do u leave the filter running none stop ?
is the pool smaller when its set up
Did you put the black rubber circle under the pump motor? Cant figure out where it goes

What do you do with the water stopper
Do you put the chlorine inside the filter?
How many inches is it from center of a leg to the other? I want to put a base on mine so the legs won't sink.
Hey! Did you get an answer on this? I'm wondering the same. Thanks!

I am wondering this in regards to fencing on the pool. Looks like 37.5.
Hey guys! Did you need to get a permit from By Law to install this pool?
i dont think so
do u have a link for this product?
How long does it take to fill it up with water??

4600 to 5000 gallons no way my pool is 15x42 and mine doesn't hold that much water
How long did it 5ake you you 5o fill up
It took me like 10 hours
Took me 11 hours
does it come with ground cloth?
No
Is it ok to leave outside during the winter months?
For winter drop water level to half and purchase “closing kit” these pools can surprisingly hold a lot of snow
According to the instructions that came with the pool it cannot be left out over the winter.
