Gro's voice is SO SMOOTH. Emma might have gotten the high notes but Gro is just so controlled and so smooth.

One thing I find interesting about the contestants on the Voice Norway is how well they pronounce the words in English language songs. On most of the European Voice shows, you don't usually such good pronunciation of some of the words in English language songs.
These 2 sound like native English speakers.
Thank you! I am 1/4 Glaswegian (Scotland), but that accent wouldn't sound American anyways. :D
In Scandinavia we learn English in school (we start learning in school from age 6/7 and during the last three years of high school years we have 1 hour English lesson a week)….and also, we have watched movies, tv-series etc in the original language/ English from we were small, and you learn a lot from that. In several other European countries (like Spain, France, Italy…), they dub Englsh speaking movies etc into their native language. Even though we dont speak English on a daily basis, its very normal to write and sing songs in English for artists here.

Gro-Marthe was great , less edgy more mellow sounding but still with a lot of emotion , I wouldn't be surprised if she is a session recordists on various albums and projects. very professional .
Emma seemed to need someone to hold on to in the beginning and Gro-Marthe was there, flawlessly.

I feel like this song was sung too LOW for the woman (dressed in black) to shine!
Even half a step can make a huge difference in a performance. Awe, but this is where the coaches shine. Taking that in consideration, I realize there may have been no time to make the necessary key change, or perhaps this was a rare instance when the performance revealed the problem…Who knows! This kind of thing happens rarely on The Voice, Norway…which brings to mind, other countries with versions of The Voice; when getting it wrong IS HEARD IN EVERY EPISODE!
Hats off to Norway, & the level of talent, seen year after year, both from behind the Mic, to those in Coaching chairs! ( I get a kick out of researching each coach, taking the time to find their place, in Music. I can see Music, from each Musician’s perspective! This makes the game so much more fun! I can truly appreciate each coach’s victory, because I have at least some idea where they’re coming from!
A citizen of the U.S. since birth, I can say a majority of personal opinion, was written off by “the press”. If there’s ANYTHING to learn, they purportedly teach it!

This is one of the most beautiful songs I know, and unfortunately, the girl in black didn't reach the low tones, and , and after that, she screamed the whole song... In my opinion, a mistake by her coach. In compensation the other candidate achieved all the marks, but despite that, there was no harmony between them...I'm sorry about that
