There comes a point in the day, we’re you just need a cold beer. You shouldn’t call the day a failure, you had a adventure, and that’s never a failure.
I was just at my sisters house in Havasu last weekend! It was 115 but the water was absolute perfection at 82 degrees. FYI - STOP at the sandbar! Jump off the boats, play frisbee, cornhole, etc. Its a party in the water!!!🎉 definitely the best spot and don’t pass the rope swing under the I-40 bridge!!🫶
Awesome video. Also very informative. We have been having great fun with our new Explorer Pro. Cruising in eco mode at about 35 mph we seem to be getting a little more than 7 mpg. I know two other people with new Seadoos. One has the 170 hp and the other 230 hp. They run like lunatics in sport mode and suck massive fuel. Our longest trip so far has been 52 miles. When the weather, tides and wind cooperate we have 70 mile and 100 mile ocean trips planned in Long Island Sound and out to Block Island. Fully loaded with my girlfriend and I (114 lbs and 164 lbs) we have hit 55 mph. Under ideal conditions it will probably do 58. But we bought it for adventure not speed. So glad I found you on RUclips, Thanks.
I did this last year with a buddy going from Bullhead up to the dam then all the way to Copper Canyon and back. Worth noting that you don’t need to carry any fuel for larger skis. We ripped a 310x with 21.5 gal and had no problems along with a 15f with no issues stopping at Pirates Cove. There is also fuel at the Havasu Marina, not to mention good chicken wings in the channel.
Yeah doing it that way you’re not far from fuel at any point. I did cattail to Davis and back to bullhead before I needed to fill up but there were no fuel docks obviously. If I’d splash and dashed at Pirates beforehand I would have made it all the way up and back
It was great to see the river this way. Man, I haven't been to needles in a lot of years. It looks great. When I was a kid, I thought the reason they called it needles was due to the pointy riverbed grass that poked you when you get in the water. Great video. This has been a great 3-part saga. Keep it up.
Great video. I grew up going to Havasu. Boats, jet ski and skiing Always a good time. I always wanted to go all the way up river. Went as far as needles but thought it was to shallow for our boat. Looked fun

I can’t believe you’re dressed that way in Havasu lol it’s so damn hot. We have run up to the damn a few times but now with a 1000hp big block we usually only go as far as Needles bridge and back down to steamboat cove for sunset which is a few miles up from where you started the video. You definitely should have just hung around and went for rides up to pirates cove and back to Havasu for the weekend so you could go out on the town and get in on the fun that Havasu offers and went camping through the week but I’m sure you’ll be back. Havasu is too addicting to only go once. We have 3 generations that have been going to Havasu since the 60s when it was mostly just a desert. It’s definitely west coasts Mecca for boating. But you definitely look like a cop from far away but I don’t think police use seadoos in Havasu Atleast I’ve never seen one but cops are cool for the most part. On holiday weekends when it’s solid boats in coves and only the emergency channel is open (where you can’t anchor for emergency vehicles to come through) there will be people throwing beers over the police boat to people out in the water. They are usually pretty cool as long as you’re not drinking and driving. Man I kinda wish you were staying all summer there so you could just enjoy it. I’ve grown up there and don’t want to leave at the end of the weekend and I only live a few hours away but also what you said about the rental skis all being in that one spot.. It’s so dangerous once you get up to Laughlin. There’s probably countless near misses daily because of idiots riding rentals and doing dangerous things especially when there are boats. They will go head on with you and cut you off when you’re going fast and just are so unpredictable and there are so many you can’t stay away from them. It’s really stressful when you’re in a boat up there on some weekends. Obviously you’ve posted this so I’m sure you’re safe but sometimes there are twice if not more seadoos than you saw in that area. Pure chaos. Also you were in Nevada when you were in Laughlin and you were in California at Pirates cove so you hit all 3 states 😜 ( wrote that before you figured it out on the map) 😅
@@AdamSwords yeah yeah I’ve heard that before from people that work out in the heat but I’ve tried it and can’t handle it lol. I gotta lose everything I’m wearing in the heat 🤣 I’ll be headed to Havasu Friday morning and this weekend it’s gonna be 115. Cookin lol
FYI if the police caught you filling up your tank there it is a 5k fine. That was as of 2022 and pretty sure it is the same fine. You cant pour gas on the river. Stay safe love the vid!
@@AdamSwords Yes we had a home on the river. The police came and told me as they saw our gas can but it was empty. He said if i was seen filling up on the river in the water it was a 5k fine. You have to have your watercraft out of the water or use one of the gas stations at Topok or Havasu. The one at AVI casino closed in 2020 during covid. Stay safe bud
Before you stop at any of those camp sites know that you have to pay and reserve them. If not the water cops will be happy to kick you out and possibly give you a ticket.
your video is informative and well done, but thank god PWC's are forbidden on swiss lakes and very strict 72db max sound levels are imposed on all boats (and a lot of new units don't pass), this river looks like absolute mayhem and a good time for nobody

Nice adventures for sure, shared this video👍
Awesome thank you!
It was actually cooler than I would have been in shorts and no shirt
@@AdamSwords yeah yeah I’ve heard that before from people that work out in the heat but I’ve tried it and can’t handle it lol. I gotta lose everything I’m wearing in the heat 🤣 I’ll be headed to Havasu Friday morning and this weekend it’s gonna be 115. Cookin lol
I like very much videos on colorado river and lakes, please make more😊
Done ;)
Swords, when I grow up I wanna be like you. You got the cool.
Haha I don’t think I’ve grown up yet!
You did more talking than riding
bruh he rode for 6+ hours and talked for less than 30
@@jaydenorourke5715 yeah but he needs to learn to talk while riding. The thing is nobody wants to watch you point the camera at your face and talk.
I agree talk less ride more
Where’s your channel ?
Amazing Adam, thanks M8.
Glad you enjoyed it
You're kitted out like you're about to go raid a bunker in the warzone mate 😅
Hahaha
Any advice of trailering your jet ski for a 9 hours transport to a destination to the ocean?
170 does the job or is better 230 ?
I am in miami planing to go open ocean and long ride.
170
You ever flip over with all that gear on the back? Does it make it harder to flip it upright again?
Not once, it’s super stable
I've seen people revive drones that have been in the water.
Nice!
it was your face the whole time....
You're living the dream my English Breatharia
I’m doing my absolute best!
Adam is the greatest
Thanks!
Damn I so wanted a camping vlog
Me too!! It’s coming I promise
Awesome video, that looks soooooo fun!!!
It was!
I hope you do a Miami to Bahamas run someday..
I will 100%
Enjoyed this video fun watch
Thanks for watching!
that was awesome! you'd definitely feel a lot less thirsty if you put electrolytes in your water
Yeah in hindsight I shoulda taken a few pouches on LiquidIV. I will next time, thanks for the tip!
YES Anna!
🤘🏻🤘🏻
bro i saw the drone on the ground lol
As soon as I saw your hat I thought; dude that's the wrong hat...
Lol
Just realized your producer Michael's right hand man
So much more than just a camera man eh? 😉
Cracking place, defo more fun to be had there,
Absolutely there is!
Whats your range on a full tank. On a ride like this
Around 80-100 miles
What is the top speed of your jet ski???
55 on the Explorer 170
FYI if the police caught you filling up your tank there it is a 5k fine. That was as of 2022 and pretty sure it is the same fine. You cant pour gas on the river. Stay safe love the vid!
Really? Didn’t know that
@@AdamSwords Yes we had a home on the river.
Thanks for the info
I used to work right near the channel. Fun stuff except it was costing too much to work there.
You should get into fishing it would make your videos 100x better
It’s just not for me I’m afraid
Im moving there now i cant wait another minute
Just did my 1st LosAngeles to Maui on my Seadoo , hell of a trip just got back time to eat !
lol 😂
wouldnt you want to jump in the water once in a while? otherwise it aint much different than a road trip
Watching these has made me want to go get a seadoo 😅
Do it!
35k jetsi epic! I can´t even get myself the standard 12k Yamaha at the moment 😅 but all in good time
You can do it!
If you would have camped there, and left at 5:30am, you would have had glass water and no boat traffic. You would have made it back in 1 1/2 hours.
Yeah I’m sure! There’s always next time!
What seadoo would you recommend for trips like this overnight?
lol…you’re kidding right?
Before you stop at any of those camp sites know that you have to pay and reserve them. If not the water cops will be happy to kick you out and possibly give you a ticket.
your video is informative and well done, but thank god PWC's are forbidden on swiss lakes and very strict 72db max sound levels are imposed on all boats (and a lot of new units don't pass), this river looks like absolute mayhem and a good time for nobody
Failure never looked so fun! 😎
You got that right!
what is the knife for
Cutting ?
