Adventures of Intercepting a Tornado Warned Storm

8/6/2024 What an active day in western Pennsylvania. Late to mid morning, severe & tornado warned storms raged through northwest PA. After that first line moved through, the atmosphere had a chance to recharge. The sun came out & caused instability. Round 2 moved through the area later in the evening. There were multiple severe & tornado warned storms. I intercepted the first severe storm on my way home from work. Later on, I intercepted a tornado warned storm in Mercer County, PA.
