The DR will be my next trip early next year. I feel as if this is a country I could retire to within the next 10 years. I appreciate your videos so much!
You will not be disappointed whenever you visit,it's a fun country with beautiful people...it like a different world how nice most of the people that I met were, amazing. I cannot wait to go back,a lot people have taken the shoot as well,so you don't have to be overly concerned. Have fun man.

Pueblo bavaro is not where you want to live, a lot of crime, no fumigacion, no regular trash collection, no general maintenance, half the day without water. People are leaving massively leaving pueblo bavaro that is why u can find good deals there now.
@@thepassportlife because it is very clean, organized and quiet. People who retire in DR usually go to the cities in the cost. Unfortunately Santiago is not in the cost but it has beautiful mountainous landscapes.
There are many options for shopping. There is a mall, several strip malls, shopping plazas, multiple grocery stores, Pizza Hut, Wendy's, Hard Rock Cafe and other American food chains available. As well as Dominican restaurants that are similar in their offerings at good prices. There are also several private schools that cater to ex-pat/foreign students with great reviews.
Shame D.R is beautiful but he shows only the pretty party is like he is ashamed of the poor people over there so stupid try to sell only the nice part of it, as any place in the world D.R us a pretty dangerous place be aware some people are nice but some will try to scam u

Yes, they have hot and cold water and they are 15 mns away from the airport. Well, try to avoid rush hour.
