Actually before applying the DW40, you don't hear the "click" when you open/close the lid. But after the application, you can hear it.

Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Mine doesn't do this yet but I'll know what to do now if it happens. I see this unit isn't on Ninja'a website any longer. Hopefully it's back to the drawing board and a new model will be released without this problem.

Basically it’s a sticking micro switch, give it a spray 👍🏻
