l noticed that in your video's cover, you mentioned not to visit Suez. However, after watching the video, it seems that you only briefly visited the station, university, and military area, without fully exploring the city itself. It is important to note that camping in those specific areas can be a mistake. However, it is crucial not to form opinions or make decisions about a city without personally visiting and experiencing it. Suez is a remarkably beautiful and vibrant city with its unique charm. Moreover, it serves as a convenient gateway to the stunning South Sinai region, which you may not have been aware of.
Actually I was passing through Suez specifically to access the South Sinai region. I know I didn't actually experience the city, and it sometimes annoys me too when tourists jump to similar conclusions, but based on my experience traveling through Suez and everything I've heard about trying to see the canal, I see no reason to return to the city, at least without one's own vehicle.
@@benbrazyoutube My friend, you are visiting Suez and not Sinai. It is a city separate from Sinai. If you want to visit Suez as a city separate from Sinai and not a rest stop, you will enjoy it very much. Please change the video title again. with all respect❤
Great vlog, Ben. We are planning a trip to Egypt for our 2024 season. Thanks for the great tip. Subed to see more. Have a happy new year. Cheers to more adventures and the growth of your channel and ours in 2023. - Turtle and Bear
Thanks for the encouraging words Turtle and Bear! Just checked out your channel and subbed as well. Looking forward to seeing where our adventures take us in 2023 and beyond
You did not visit the city itself, you shooted the bus station and camped beside a graveyard 😮 .. You had to stay in a hotel in city center and in the morning take a taxi to the tunnel were you can find many buses to sharm elsheikh .
This is really good to know! We are just planning our trip to Egypt and thanks to you we will avoid to go over Suez and just go directly over Cairo to the Sinai Peninsula. Learning from your mistakes! 😄
Beautiful, so glad I could be of some help. I'm sure you'll have a great trip to Egypt. At Turgoman Bus Station (at Cairo Gateway Plaza) there are direct buses from Cairo to Dahab if you're interested in that route.
انا من السويس وكل محافظة لها أشياء رائعة وأشياء سيئة لدينا الكثير من الأشياء التي لم تظرها تستطيع أن تراها بمجرد سؤال جوجل I am from Suez and every governorate has wonderful things and bad things. We have many things that you did not see. You can see them by simply asking Google.
Hello my friend Ben, I am sorry for what happened to you, but you showed the city in a very bad way, although you did not discover the city itself without military areas, cemeteries and parking lots. So, what is the city like, where is its culture, where are its landmarks, and above all? You came on a day when there were no buses to Sharm El Sheikh, so the problem is not in the city, the problem is you.
Wow , what a shit show in Suez . Wonder why there was no transportation to your destination ? Is it in a war zone maybe . I really like how you get footage by keeping the camera hidden as not to piss off the locals .
Thanks Mike! Yeah I'm still not super comfortable openly filming in public, which is why I try to hide the camera sometimes. Yeah the Sinai Peninsula is heavily militarized. I could have taxied to the Suez Tunnel where buses stop for military inspection before crossing the canal and then hopefully hop on a bus, but directions were conflicting and I think it cost me less money, time and headache just going back to Cairo.

Lmao, bro. It's all a matter of perspective of course but no city in Egypt can be described as "remarkably beautiful". Even Mogadishu is nicer.

Well said 💯
Plus the people on the video were very nice to him.
I'm not accusing him yet maybe he is trying to get views by the title

Most independent travelers videos to Egypt on RUclips can be summed up in one word - "Avoid"
@@ponyclub3198 haha unfortunately this is true!
@@ponyclub3198 I know enough Egyptologists that I will likely have a more hospitable experience, but thanks for the word of caution.
Thank you, its been very helpful. I don't understand why there are no buses even though Suez is at the intersection of roads.
Exactly! They should at least have busses shuttling between the main bus stations

Yeah I heard about catching a bus at the tunnel but I didn't want to take a taxi and couldn't find a bus.
He is a hypocrite
Good video 👍
