First set is 5/0 Target Snapper Hooks with double floating bead traces and inline fishing clips. Set two is the new 6/0 Target Snapper Hooks with double floating bead traces and inline fishing clips. Both sets were baited with octopus baits and set in 50 metres of water over soft foul ground.

To hold the baits off the ground so crabs cant eat the bait and to allow the baits to move to attract fish.

After the fish is dead what is the use of measuring the size

Because an undersize dead fish is still undersize. The legal limit applies to any fish brought on to the boat. Also we like to know the size of the fish we are catching, even if obviously of legal size.
