If the blueprints are not getting reset if you stay on the same server isn't that bad, as long as you know what to farm, you can get back to where you were from scratch pretty easily.
@@JxSheppGaming Exactly. So if you're playing on a PvE server then there really isn't any need to use any other building material than wood for your structures. So if you build with wood you could have your "new" base built really quick after a reset. The facilities and such are another problem though.

i think 6 weeks is more than enough time to do everything in the game. You get to keep your weapon and base blueprints so it will be nice having fresh restarts with new content, i think it will keep the game alive for longer. Its a bit like rust but with longer restarts.

Yeah, but most of the players arent playing only one game... grind Is mine with me, but making the whole building with water pumps working, acid farm etc. doing all of this again and again is huge pain 🥵

@@janmoravek820 unlocking all the memetics again is what will be annoying but having the base blueprint saved means you dont have to plan it all out again, just need the materials. I think the most annoying thing will be having to wait a few weeks until the hard modes get unlocked. They really should be unlocking all difficulties straight away because new seasons will become easier to level.
Right? Rust monthly wipes seem like a long time in game. With that said though Rust also doesn't have much of a single player story aspect. OH needs to be a bit longer so the 6 weeks seems pretty appropriate. Let them run it like this, I'm sure if adjustment is needed they can change the season length. The Devs are good about player feedback so I have faith it'll work out.
You can make a blueprint of your whole base to rebuild it in the next season. you'll be able to place the whole thing down if you have enough material, only facilities will have to be rebuilt
Ok so going to preface this by saying I by no means understand it in full yet as it is kinda whacky how it is being handles, however there are many items that we can save and take with us into the new season via their eternalland feature. Towards the end of a current season we should get prompted to transfer things over to eternal land, when when the new season starts we can hop into eternal land and send the items back. They released a post about it a little while back detailing what items can be saved via eternal land, which items will be saved without needing to use this feature, and what items will not be saved at all. So it wont be a complete fresh wipe like Tarkov (at least it wont be if the system works as described). Hope this helps at least a little
As someone that also played a lot of Diablo 4, seasons are a good thing usually, it does feel weird at the beginning but it keeps the game fresh. Most people havent experienced this kind of seasonal gameplay but if they do it right its gonna be better than if they left you with all ur stuff.
This is just a normal wipe system that will be necessary for the games lifespan. A lot of survival and other games use a system like this (namely Rust, Tarkov) this is a good thing as long as you get to keep some stuff like blueprints. And from what I can see you can keep almost everything.
You can save your base as a blueprint and it'll build it exactly how you had it 1:1. The only thing that really gets reset is your memetics and all your mats. Grinding back up to 50 is gonna suck but overall compared to other games the fully wipe it isnt that horrible. Especially if your able to play with multiple people

@@JxSheppGaming I feel you brother! I've been solo this whole time. Just hit 40 on day 10 of my server. To save your base as a blueprint all you have to do is go into the build menu, and at the very end of the tabs you can see "Blueprints" just click on that and it'll show you premades or you can click on the "+" icon to save your current build as a new prefab for future use. I have a crafting base, and Defense base made as premades when i grind starchrom waves
i think the first 2 seasons have already been planned out, the ball is already rolling on those and they are 6 weeks each, but i imagine they will be changing to a longer wipe cycle going forward from season 3+
as someone who has spent years and years into these genre's, the 'issue' is actually the solution to the longevity of the game. Something you are over looking the fact they have the feature of keeping your base and all what you have an issue with in the Eternaland feature. /facepalm
If they go full PVP, I'm just not going to play anymore. If I wanted my stuff blown up by the sweatiest clan every morning, I'd play RUST. The reset I don't hate so much. I already tear my base down to a core every time I move. PVP only is a deal killer for me.
I've heard from people who've done everything in the game, they would get bored and the reset will give them something new to do. I do like that you don't have to restart the story etc. For you having issues with not saving your base, I believe you can just save your house as a preset in the house blueprint section of the build menu and then just paste it down in the new season and then just get all the materials which shouldn't be too hard..

Depends on what servers you play on etc but typically the loop is build a base, kill people, get raided while online or offline, restart. At least that's what happens to me when solo lmao. I'd say to have a look on videos on the game to see if it's something you'd like.

Before I watch the video, lemme guess... seasonal resets? Meh, I like games that reset (path of exile) because it lets you play the beginning experience (early game stuff) and optimize or try new strategies without feeling that you're now way behind everyone else. If they introduce new content each season, it will keep the game fresh. Also, if you get new/old friends together, you guys can enjoy a season fresh together, rather than a super high level person power-leveling your friends through early content. Resets always encourage new players to join up because they can start on the same playing field as experienced players.

The farming in this game is very light, you don't need to spend hours farming resources, there is very little you have to farm, you can even passively farm many things, the only thing that requires a little farm is the mods in the late game, but only if you are looking for a specific and perfect one... it shows that you have never played a game that really asks you to farm hard so this seems like a lot of farming to you xD stop crying... the only thing I have left to tell you is get good ;)

Oh look another video complaining about seasonal resets and just copying what other "content creators" have said about it. The 6-week period isn't fixed, the devs have confirmed this, some seasons will likely be longer. Plenty of stuff like you blueprints, earned cosmetics etc. will carry over to the new season. Your base? You can create a blueprint of your base and import it into the new season. Believe me, without seasonal resets, you'll all stop playing the game after 6 weeks anyway crying that there's no end-game and nothing to do in the game anymore. Let's first see how this works out before being so negative about it.

I don't think people understand this game is the same game as "Undawn" the difference is Undawn is a mobile game ported to PC. Once humans is a PC game being ported to mobile. Once human has better graphics obviously. They are the same game made by the same ppl there just prioritizing PC over mobile with once human version 😂. I like once human. I’m sure that making a server not wipe every 6 weeks… shouldn’t be hard to do :) . I’m sure they will, it’s a no brainer! Lose player base or make a permanent server? Answer is obvious. The devs are very receptive and multiple streamers have had interviews with them, they’re all over RUclips. They are improving the game a lot and they just need time.

I absolutely love the game, been grinding since week 1 of release. There are a lot of bugs, some can be annoying, but they will get fixed.

BRUH, the wipe is not an issue. Rust wipes EVERY WEEK. Stop making a non issue, an issue. They will make perma servers eventually. Wipes are good, more starchrom!

@@JxSheppGaming hope they can make a server without the wipes for the people that do not enjoy wipe basis. The game is fun and should be able to be enjoyed by everyone. I’m sure that making a server not wipe every 6 weeks… shouldn’t be hard to do :) . I’m sure they will, it’s a no brainer! Lose player base or make a permanent server? Answer is obvious.
The devs are very receptive and multiple streamers have had interviews with them, they’re all over RUclips. They are improving the game a lot and they just need time.
