    The Polestar 2 is such a great car. Well built, quality interior and good Scandinavian design. Thanks for sharing!

    You can get a 2021 AWD Long Range pre-configured car for less money than the 2022's with +Pilot +Plus. Still might be out of your budget but you get the two packs for £4k Cheaper.

      Really appreciate your review. Polestar has been on our list of options for when we switch to EV. We did our test drive at Harrogate, pleased we did as it showed how dynamic the drive is when you push it. Holds the road really well in the bends. Small inside, yes I would agree with that although I would class it as cosy with the high console. Our other target vehicle to try out is the forthcoming EV6, it is a bigger car though but probably suit's our needs. The 800v charging if you can find a 350v charger is a game changer. However the uniqueness of Polestar and Android keeps bringing us back to Polestar. Thank you for taking the time to give your thoughts and experiences

      Aww. Welcome. We loved it. Few things obv we felt we didn't but overall good car. The cost does creep up though when adding packs for equipment that we feel should be standard.

    Nice video!!! What did you think of the seats? That's the leather ventilated seats option. I've heard other reviewers say that the standard seats give you a "sweaty back" as they don't allow for any ventilation due to the material used. BTW from what I understand in the 38kwh Ioniq, you can regen to a stop, but the only way you can do that is by keeping hold of the left regen paddle, even if you're in level 3 regen.

      Hi. Thanks for the comment. The seats where great. Plenty of support, heated and vented which we have now as well. There wasn't any cars with standard seats so can't comment on how they are. Yes I use the paddle in ours to come to complete stop. Think I meant been able to turn creep off in ours as we can't do that. Only keep pressing the auto hold button each time you get in the car🤭

      @@EvClaireScott Ah right I see. Keep the videos coming, would be nice to see what you choose in the end or any other cars that you take for test drives during the process of choosing your next car.

    The Pilot package should include more things than the adaptive cruise control, no?
    Edit: Just noticed you showing them in the end

    • @EvClaireScott
      @EvClaireScott  3 года назад

      Yes it does, but mainly its the ACC that's important to us, should be standard that

      @@EvClaireScott - the pixel lights, 360 camera and blind spot light in the mirrors are also actually pretty useful too. If I was buying agin now I’d spec both of the packs - they are definitely worth it ⚡️👍🏻

    I'm sure it's a lovely car... it's just the lack of a dedicated charging network unlike with Tesla that put me off looking at Polestar 🙂

    • @EvClaireScott
      @EvClaireScott  3 года назад +1

      After pricing it up as well it would cost £47k to get the polestar2 to same spec as the model 3 standard. Not prepared to pay that much, so ye m3 wins over the polestar2 and yes has the SUC as a advantage too

    I had one on order for over a year, took a test drive, didn't like it.
    The one we drove had the dreary black interior and felt cramped & chlostrophobic, the huge centre Console rubbed our legs (passenger & driver), a narrow letterbox slot windscreen.
    The car you drove looked a lot better with the light upholstery but spoilt by the dark headlining.
    Poor efficiency and expensive when spec's up.
    The cup holders are a design fail 👎
    We were excited at the prospect of owning this car, but we're disappointed having seen it and having had the test drive.
    You pretty much came to the same conclusions that we did!
    It wasn't the car for us either, so we got our deposit refunded.
    A good, short informative review.

      Ahhh. Ye all u said is what we thought. We really liked the look of it as well. Still think it is a good looking car.
      We are now proud owners of a tesla model 3. We just couldn't find anything that out shone it at all.
      What car have u ended up with?

    First video of yours I have watched and thought the real world information you provided was great and informative and I have subscribed. However please hold the steering wheel properly as you will not have proper control when driving that way especially when you occasionally floor it.
