If they need more money, they need to showcase the full potential of Blackpink. Because the girls have talents, all artist around the world praises Blackpink
If you are writing this out of frustration, I get it, but here is a reality check. You just have to look to the past to see the future. . .
While all the YG boy bands are doing great with song quantity. BigBang over 50 songs and even more when you count their solo stuff, because they do most of it them selves. IKON and Winner also has over 50 songs to there credit. Treasure has over 30 songs, but they only debute 2019.
So what is the difference between these boy bands and BlackPink. You need to look into one more group. 2NE1, senior girl group which have just maybe 20 songs.
YG does not push the girl groups as hard as there is a missing element. The boys produce a lot of there own songs. While the girls rely on Teddy Park for 90% while the girls will come up with some lyrics or use there style and influence to make a song there own. Jennie boast she does the costumes for all the MV, and when she did Solo, they filmed abroad, and she brought over 20 outfits. and they used them all. but this is not the same as getting in the studio with a blank sheet and then when they leave, you have a song, which is a banger. True, she was credited with some lyrics on a few of their songs, but bottom line, It all starts with Teddy, not YG.
YG is the original, 1/3 of the original "Seo Taiji and the Boys" he always had a vision of quality over quantity.
Teddy Park is also under YG, but he is the main producer of the Black Label which produces music separately from YGE
FlashForward, If BlackPink leaves YG because of what you are saying, YG not using BP to the full potential. who will fill the void of Teddy. as every song thus far is produced by Teddy except for the collabs with western artist. and did those western songs sound anything like what BP original sound sounds like. not really.
BlackPink is being used to its fullest right now. by holding back songs, and limits come backs, it is true the fandom do not like it. But this is what creates demand, and YG knows this. he is creating a need for more BlackPink and when it happens, World Records are being broke.
YG is thinking outside the box, when there is no music comebacks, he treats BP like a reality show, thus 24/3265 BlackPink House. and the talks of a season 2 was leaked by Jennie a while ago. Plus, the girls make more money modeling with all the fashion sponsorship then with music. The music is only a part of BP, they are all Global Ambassadors and treated like models and actresses.
First, you had mistaken the concept 'idols' with general music artists. It's similar in hindsight, yet very different. Music artists, especially in western countries, can do whatever, write whatever and it'll be fine. When you're an idol it's different. For the lack of better words, idols are product. You have to excel in different things, too. Not just music. Modelling, acting. Everything you do came with certain standards. Especially when you're SUPER talented, the company will capitalize on that. It's not inherently YG's fault, it's just how idol culture always was. The fact that Rosé can still perform song covers here and there and the fact BP now have cuss words in their songs already shows a HUGE leniency which I appreciate. The girls are super talented, but I don't think YG will sell everything they have in one go. Sounds rough, but that's entertainment business.

I hate YG man. That company is trash. A lot of people criticize Blackpink and say that they don't know or never write their lyrics that it always teddy and sometimes it's true but it's not that they can't, but that the company itself limits them a lot. The girls have so much potential to do a lot of things, especially Rosé with the writing, and YG always sabotage them 🙄
I wish they had that freedom to release their own lyrics and their own sound if they have ideas because I think that even in that they don't let them decide much. I'm so sure that the girls give them ideas and they just simply say no at almost everything.

This remix was most likely written over a year ago when Rosie was hanging out with Bella back in the states.
